HOW I LANDED HERE

Since childhood, I have dreamt to be a writer. I've been writing on Facebook and some other platforms time to time. I was looking for a proper platform that would appreciate my writing. I wanted to write for a living. Then my friends @notacinephile and @fahmidamou opened my eyes and told me all about Hive.blog. I had no prior idea of Blockchain and stuff. I must say, it’s a magic for me.

WHAT I LOVE AND WHAT I'M GONNA WRITE ABOUT

I love being alone. I really do. I feel most comfortable in my room with books and TV.

BOOKS
I love to read. So, you'll see me writing about books. I may cease to exist if I can't read and write. There's not a single day goes by for me without reading. The books I love are as follows:

I am studying English literature. So, by default, I must read a lot of classics. My choice varies from time to time. But, one thing is sure, I love being struck by new ideas. Always open to welcome new thoughts.

MOVIES
Movies come in 2nd of my favourite past time. I love writing about movies. I watch them to relax. They make me feel alive. I, not necessarily expect knowledge or enlightenment from a movie. If they do, I'm fine with that. Sometimes I love to see my favourite books in motion.

Akira Kurosawa is my favourite film director. After him, I must say, Satyajit Roy's Pather Panchali, Jalsaghar, Shakha-Proshakha touched me the most. I don't like violence in movies, I don't like horror either. In short, I want a pleasing time for my eyes. It must be visually entertaining. The followings are some of my favourite movies:

TV SHOWS
I'm a 'Friends' and 'Breaking Bad' fan. You can hate me for that or kill me as well. But, I ain't gonna change my mind. Oh! I hate GOT too!

So, I'll review TV Shows time to time.

MUSIC
I'm a Rock music fan, preferably 70s, 80s. Particularly, Pink Floyd, Simon & Garfunkel, Phil Collins, Scorpions, Whitesnake, REM and many more. I could listen to them all day long. Sometimes, I love to listen Audiobooks instead of music, lol. I love instrumentals, too. Ennio Morricone, Ananda Shankar, Anoushka Shankar, Ramin Djwadi, Hans Zimmer are some of my favourite composers. I couldn't feel the essence of western classical music yet. But I'm trying to learn how to appreciate them, though.

I think, I am gonna write about them, too!

SOME OTHER THINGS THAT I'M INETERESTED IN

As I am a SCHOOL teacher, I always try to learn about something new every now and then. I love to inspire my students and show them the beauty of the realm of wisdom.

THINGS I'M LEARNING

• Nowadays, I am trying to learn about paintings and sculptures.

• Learning Spanish, Mandarin and Hindi on Duolingo.

• Trying to get into Philosophy.

• Whenever I get a chance, I travel. I love to explore new frontiers, observe different kinds of people and their lifestyle. I love hills, mountains and jungles. I wish I could meet David Attenborough some day.

I'm nobody. So, I don't want to extend my 'Bio' anymore. I am a good soul, that’s for sure. Open-minded, secret keeper, trustworthy. You can't hate me, at least.
