When you reach a certain point in life, you realize that life never has and never will follow through according to your plans and ideas. You might also realize that it is actually "okay" for it be like that, in a way. And if life really does end up dealing a bit of "unnecessary damage", damage that was totally uncalled-for. Then the chances are, the damage dealt is not as severe as we usually think it is or "imagine" it to be. Sooner we realize that the whole experience of life and living is going to follow this "method" till the end, the better.
No matter the amount of damage, life, fate; whatever you call it, has dealt. Life always plans on paying the demurrage sooner or later (what a gent eh?) Yes, the method life has chosen might have been reckless. "Life" might even choose to leave without saying sorry. Yet, when it's time, life will scour unimaginable distances, an eternity if needed, just to pay its dues.
Life truly does seem like the villain sometimes. No matter how much we would like to deem it the "bad guy" in our stories, and even if we end up doing so, it would be a terrible lie. Now, you might think life's not the one to be blamed, maybe in your eyes life isn't at fault. Even then, life is in no way the hero either, that's how I see it at least haha.
In my eyes, life more or less holds the traits of an anti-hero, mostly having innocuous intentions. But sadly, life is very bad at enacting its plans, usually holding a credential of mess ups in most of our stories. Which leads to plenty of hate, even though the intentions usually tend to be pure.
Occasionally, life makes us wait, eagerly, for that one thing, for which we've been waiting so patiently. Sometimes making us think that we're close, so close that you can almost latch onto it.
Sadly, soon enough we find out it was all fake, false hopes. And that is when we tend to get enraged, we start filling ourselves up with hate. Filled with loathing towards life and its shenanigans, its random pranks.
Not once thinking to ourselves, maybe it just wasn't meant to be? Maybe there's something better waiting along the line.
I believe life has its own ways of teaching us, different lessons and pacing for different people. And once we've learned the lesson, life deems us worthy. Worthy and ready, to receive what our hearts truly desire and have waited patiently for so long (with compensation 😉)
Life is a balance of "curses" and blessings, and we truly need both. Because if not for the hardships, the many phases of life where our patience was tested. We wouldn't be who we are right here, right now, in present time. Someone who has never experienced sadness can never truly experience happiness. After a phase of bad experiences, when the good times finally come, we cherish those moments. Those are the moments we truly live for, the moments, the memories we reminisce. 🌆🥃
The more I think of life the less I understand it. It is either here or there, but it just is--present . Life's lessons vary but if there is one lesson I hold to be true, it is that we should be present in every situation and make the best out of it. Most times there isn't a right answer to 'why', it just is...life--unexplainable but there
