Thanks for sharing a piece of the history of the Bangladesh people. I knew little or nothing about it but from your editorial, it seems like an interesting one and quite similar to that of my tribe--the Igbo tribe in Nigeria.

It's strange how people with a similar culture and practice separatism. I will read up on Bangladesh's history and probably come up with a post about it.

although many will debate about it... I heard somewhere few years ago that "One death is a tragedy, a thousand death is a statistics" - not accurate in this situation. I haven't heard of the Nigerian civil war before (my bad), and it's around the same time as our liberation war

We do have some history to uncover. Like I said I will make out time to learn about the Bangladesh liberation war. Maybe you can read a fun story "half of a yellow sun". It captures some of the ills of the Nigerian civil war

I have heard about the book but didn't get the chance to read yet... I'll try to
