More Artworks Along The Way

Hi all!

Today, I share with you more artwork I found on a fence close to a busy way in Nwaniba, Uyo. These works like I said earlier depicts traditional lifestyle and culture of the people of Akwa Ibom. It is more like a village scene where they take you back to the oldies.

The first depicts an elderly man riding a bicycle. He is on a traditional outfit.

The above is followed by a boy breaking a fallen tree with an axe. The pieces would be used as firewood.

The next piece I saw was an old woman carrying a bunch of palm fruit on her head and hold a knife with the other hand.. it's obvious she's coming from the farm..

Another piece I took is a woman pounding something. This people love pounded yam and I guess that's what she's pounding.

That's look awesome. Nice artworks in Africa

Beautiful works. Reminds me of days where I will have to pound clay to make high relief works for sale.
