Delicious mango sauce with sour sweet spicy

This Mango Chutney is really good with robust flavors. A sour, spiced and tasty Mango Chutney.

If you are a chutney lover like me, you are going to love this chutney. I am such a fan of it that I have chutney with everything from stir fries and even with roti or paratha.
There are many ways a mango chutney is made. But if you follow my process, you will definitely like it.

Ingredients

  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Hot spices
  • Coriander powder
  • Cumin powder
  • Mustard paste
  • Dried pepper
  • Red pepper powder
  • Yellow powder
  • Betel salt
  • Bay leaves
  • sugar

Tips for making mango chutney

1.For the sour mango chutney, coarsely ground the mustard seeds.
2.Get raw mangoes with really tender skin. peel the skin off lightly . But if you get raw mangoes with tough skin, then peel off the skin fully.
3.You can choose to add more red chilli powder if you want more spicy taste in the pickle.
4.Remember there should be no water or moisture in your jar in which you will keep the mango pickle. The jar has to be clean and dry.
5.You can sterilize a glass jar if you want.

process

First remove the peel of the mangoes and cut them into small pieces.

Then I put them in a pot and add salt and water.Mix well and leave for 10 minutes.After 10 minutes, wash well with fresh water and pick up the mango pieces.I will prevent it for a while so that the water on the skin dries up.
Now I will make the spices that I will use in the sauce.First I will grind the hot spices and mustard seeds.

Now let's boil the mangoes in a pressure cooker with water.When it is cooked, we mix it completely with a mixer.

I will take mustard oil in the pan.When the oil is slightly hot, I will add spices except bit of salt.Do not fry for a long time because the mustard will burn and the sauce will become bitter.

Now I will pour the mixed mango in it.

Mix well and add sugar in it.Now I add dried chilli powder and betel salt in it.

I shook it for a while and lowered it....

Then Store it in a dry container.
