Hello all Hive People & Splinterlands lovers,

In my previous publications also I have shared that How I love to play more and more Frontier mode game. The Frontier mode is fun and you will play against the real players only as bots are not allowed. The draws are also another reason I love to play in Frontier mode. I am in the Gold League and earning Foundation Packs along with the draws for completing the five wins. Not able to complete all three set of five win quest but trying to complete two sets. I have not opened the foundation packs I am earning form Frontier mode, but will share the opening soon as I need more cards for upgrading my collection.
The battle modifier play a crucial role in the battlefield and choice of splinter and the cards depends on same. The wrong selection of Splinter or wrong cards become the reason of battle lost. Today I am sharing a strategy I usually use when playing in the Frontier game mode. Lets get started......
Battle Details
Battle Modifier - Noxious Fume & Earthquake

My strategy -
It was a medium mana battle and I was having total 24 mana only. The Frontier mode summoners usually cost 6 mana so ultimately to summon the monsters we left with only 18 mana. The most of the cards from the Frontier game mode costs more then the normally if compare with the cards form other game modes. So the main challenge was to utilize the maximum mana and place a good team in battlefield. All the splinter were allowed except the Fire splinter. I choose to go with the Earth tea and their was two good reason behind it - first the earth team has the card with Self Healing Ability and second it has a card with cleansed ability also.
Their were two type of battle modifiers broadly, one are which gives the buff or de-buff, restrict the certain ability to use etc. (example are modifier which allow the use of melee monster only or eliminate the sneak ability etc.) The second were the modifier which ensure that their will be some lost of health at the beginning of the every round form second round onwards (the example are Noxious Fume & Earthquake). I case of the second type of battle modifier we must ensure to use of cards which can counter this negative effect. Self healing is always good to use and has his own benefits.
In the above battle I was having restriction of 24 mana and modifier were also not much favorer, so I decide to use the card with self heling i.e. Dread Tafarian (to over come the negativity of earthquake), and to safeguard the frontend card form the a Noxious Fume I used the Time Bandit, which has the cleanse ability and has good health also to sustain against the battle modifier.
Lets watch the battle round by round...
Below is the screenshot of lineup of round 1. Both the teams used the Earth Splinter only.

Their was no loos on either side by the end of round 2.

The downfall of opponent started after round 3 as he lost hos first card, keep in mind that the cards was dead because of the Noxious Fume & Earthquake.

After Round 4 both teams were left with one card each (and the same card), I was still holing the decent health as compare to the opponent and this become the final round as the opponent's card was down.

Those two rulesets in combination are hard to handle, especially in Frontier. But the earth splinter is definitely the best choice with Dread Tafarian and Time Bandit.
The both rulesets take health at the beginning of each round starting form round 2, this is a double dose of killing lol.
