TEXTILE and our Life.

in BDCommunity3 years ago
Every human being has some basic rights, which are essential for living. Clothing is one of those fundamental rights. Many years ago, people used bark and animal leathers as clothing for hide their body parts. After this, there have been many changes in human civilization with the passage of time. Through many incredible discoveries, people are wandering in this modern era. Now people are very careful about wearing dresses. By using technology, humans are making yarn from fiber and turning that yarn into cloth & many designs are used on this cloth. But, did people in ancient times know it would be happened in the future? In my opinion, it was beyond their imagination!

Nowadays, people are using cloths as a style. One can get an idea of how elegant a person is by looking at his clothes. That's a mind concept I think. We know, clothing has become an essential element of our life. Can we imagine a day without clothes? Is it really possible to move in society without clothes? If anyone ask those question to me, my answer will be "Surely No."

Now the question is do we know how this dresses are made? Where does it come from? I think it is our duty as human beings to have an idea of what we are constantly using. Today I will present a general idea about clothing in this article.

The sector which is related to dress making is called TEXTILE sector. It is one of the biggest sector in our country by which Bangladesh earn 82% of total export income. It's effect directly to our Economy. There are around 5000 textile industries in our country who produce textile materials. In those industries some are yarn manufacturing industry, some are fabric manufacturing industry and the others make final products like - dresses, home textile, geotextile etc. After filling national demand those products are export in 100+ countries around the world. Now i want to describe the dress making process shortly which is followed in textile industries .

The main component of a textile material is fibre. These fibre can be natural or man-made. Natural fibres are collected from many plants and the man made fibres are made manually. Those natural fibres are going over cleaning process to remove dirt, dust and natural oil. Then, fibres are twisted to making yarn from them. Industries use ring frame machine for producing the yarn. By using those yarns industries produce fabric. For this they use woven and knitting machine according to their needs. Those fabric is then dyed to produce color into them. Finally, in garments industries dresses are made according to the style by cutting, sewing and ironing. That's the general process of making our dresses. Those process are different for different types of textile materials.

This is awesome. However, I have been nursing the question why some persons in the name of fashion still walk naked thereby making the aim of the clothes and clothing industry vain.
