RE: Spirited Away- The Radish Spirit.

Hayao Miyazaki is a great story teller. I advise you to watch Mononoke if you have never seen it, very much in the same style, maybe a bit more violent though. Howl's Moving Castle is so touching and talk about very important subject like how we deal we becoming on older person.

In another genre, if you like non serious Anime that actually parodies Anime, you have to try One Punch Man, but it's a bit for boys, though I wouldn't "judge a book by its cover".

Porco Rosso is probably my favorite Studio Ghibli movie I have seen thus far. I second the recommendation of One Punch Man, too. It's basically a superhero parody, although not as silly as The Tick from the 90's American cartoons.

Now I have to check "The Tick"

Well, if you like surrealist parodies, you're in for a treat. There was a 90s FOX animated series with three seasons, a FOX live-action series that got cancelled in the early 2000s after a partial season, and a recent Amazon live-action series. It's all based on an indie comic from the 80s if memory serves. Like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, each iteration is distinct and different.

Thanks mate how is the live action movie? Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is such a gem, truly one of a kind movie

Thank you so much for your recommendation. I will watch your recommended movies from time to time soon.
Actually I've never seen an anime movie before, this is the first. Spirited Away fascinated me, And broke all of my wrong perception about it. Probably now I am a very big fan of Japanese Anime.

And yes, I have to say Hayao Miyazaki is a great director.

Kudo to you, it's great to try something new once in a while!
