As we already know about fruit flies, most members of fruit fly species lay their eggs in the fruit tissue they occupy, and it is in this place or fruit that larvae find food for the first time after hatching, in this case adult flies are usually very short-lived, and usually Some adult flies only live for less than a week after they are adults, The losses experienced by farmers due to fruit flies are quite large and very worrying, therefore pest control of fruit flies is usually done by wrapping the fruit in plastic or paper so that the fruit is not rotten by fruit fly attacks, or even by pheromone attractors which is usually used to attract male flies, using methyl eugenol.
