Life is full of illusion

in BDCommunity4 years ago

One gloomy afternoon, the sun was about to set in the western sky. Ignoring this intense heat of the month of Chaitra, the playground was almost crowded, at least two thousand people had gathered there. Shopkeepers from different areas were busy selling their goods as this was the Haat (an open-air market) day. I came to this open field many times in my childhood because then the people of the villages used to get their daily necessities from this Haat. When I was a child, I came here with joy because I used to get various tasty sweet and toys from here. However, the occasion to come here today is different. Today I have came to this field of adjacent Haat with a lot of distress in my mind. Yes, thousands of people assembled in this field this evening is to perform the Janaza of my late uncle and I am one of them.

It is an unpleasant reality that people will depart. The most ominous thing is that there are vast difference between life and demise. As soon as a person departs, his name is forfeited and people no longer call his name rather call a corpse. Even more shocking is the fact that his close relatives get scared of him. A wife who had been dwelling happily for years with her husband, immediately after death she withhold herself to be with him in the same room. This is the reality and the principle of nature that people will be appall to see the deceased body. Since, according to science, the body of a creature is putrefied by the outbreak of bacteria, so any dead body is required to be buried according to one's religious beliefs. The same thing was accomplished in the case of my uncle, he was buried before evening.

After laying him to rest, everyone went back home what people usually do. This house was flocked a little while ago, it is now almost deserted. Our life is never static, so it is normal for everyone to be encompassed with their busy life. In the midst of this crowd of hundreds of busy people, my eyes stuck somewhere else; that was my aunt. She was staring blankly. Her sons and daughters are all grown up and living a brisk life. So, at this age the only person to talk and share her feelings was my uncle. That person is also no more with her today. That's why I could comprehend that she was not crying for this sudden shock; she was just staring blankly. When I put my hand on her head, she burst into tears which eventually began to fall from her eyes.

Sometimes I think, everything is delusion in this small life. We're all spinning inside a fantasy circle. That could be the illusion for parents, wife or children. It could the deception of money even. Honestly, we are living because of this illusion or hope. One day everyone has to leave this world by breaking this bond of hallucination, but still it is difficult for us to accept. Everyone has to leave. This is the law of nature and none of us can go beyond this principle.

Hmm.. Law of nature, no one on earth is above it.

May his soul rest in peace❤

Yes, it’s the law of nature. No one will get rid of it even if we want to..

My condolences... rest in peace

Thanks for wishing.

Everyone has to leave. This is the law of nature and none of us can go beyond this principle.

Sadly we don't always remember this law and mosttimes we are not prepared for the death of a loved one.
May his soul rest in peace.

Yes, this is the reality, we all have to leave. Thanks for your attention.

It is a law of nature, but since it is hard for us to accept it, we have no choice but to live with the memory, some are less attached than others. Be strong, bro!

Yes, it’s the law of nature but sometimes we forget that. Thanks for your kind words. Have a great day.

being some who has lost a loved one, I can very well relate to this story. it is still the darkest times of my life--losing a father and a sister. sometimes you think the pain is gone but it hits you suddenly. i had a quick flashback yesterday and maybe I will write about it tomorrow.

life seems pointless most days. one cannot really tell. nothing can compensate for the horrors of life, even logic.

i had a quick flashback yesterday and maybe I will write about it tomorrow.

Will be waiting to read that. Yes, what you mentioned, I am totally agree with this. There are some pains that can never be forgotten. Thanks for your nice comments.

Life is not guaranteed at all but Death is absolutely guaranteed. We all should prepare for death. May allah grant him jannah.

You are right. Thanks for wishing.

Wonderful , this is the hard truth of nature, no one can escape death no matter how much rich or poor, how famous or big brother or how much he or she gain in this living world.
