Trump is fickle in what he supports. Maybe he wanted the votes of crypto fans, but he has power now anyway. Musk is a troll and supporting DOGE is just baiting people. I don't like either of them.

Burning more fossil fuels to mine crypto would be a seriously bad move. The US is already seeing extreme weather events and that will only get worse if they continue on this track. Obviously the fossil fuel companies just want their profits and they have influence.
