Hi, drinkies. This is my first post in this section of Amazing drinks. As I am a fan of Yerba mate tea I will tell you what it is and show you how I prepare it.
About Yerba mate
It is a traditional drink in Latin and South America. It can be served hot or cold, although I prefer warm. It has some caffeine that unlike coffee gives you a more of a long term boost.
Is it healthy?
According to the website healthline.com it has many benefits:
- rich in antioxidants
- boosts energy and improve focus
- enhances performance
- protect against infections
- helps losing weight
- lowers blood sugar levels
- lowers risk of heart disease
I am convinced. Let's brew it.
How to do it
You need a french press, hot water and some yerba mate tea.
You put 2 teaspoons of tea into the french press.
You fill in around 3 dcl of boiling water for about 3 minutes.
Then you french press it and enjoy it in a cup. I hope that you enjoyed this article too.

Good morning. Interesting information. However, if you read our rules, you will see that number 3 indicates that you must appear preparing your drink, in at least three photos and I don't see this in your post. Thanks for your comment. I have to admit I just saw the rule to that coffee is not allowed, so I made a post about the tea.

It is that you can use coffee as long as it is part of another drink, not coffee as the center of your preparation. This applies too to wines and beers.
Having published mate is fine, the only thing missing from your post is that you appear in at least three photos preparing your drink or tea.
