There are many drinks that can refresh your thirst. However, what if the green bean extract that is usually used as a grain is mixed into the porridge into a healthy and different beverage preparation this time. Actually this drink is a typical drink that comes from one area in Indonesia, which is quite far from my area. However, out of curiosity about this drink, I really wanted to try it. Usually, I enjoy natural green bean extract, without using anything, and even then in ready-to-eat packaging.
How does it feel if green beans are made into a drink by adding coconut milk? I'm sure the taste will be quite tempting and give a new color to your home recipe.
Green bean essence is a drink cooked in coconut milk by taking only the starch. So you will enjoy like fruit juice in general. Not many people know about this drink at first, including me. However, when playing social media I saw a review of this drink, and in my opinion this drink is simple and very easy to try at home. So, instead of being curious, let's execute it!
Materials Used
2 pandan leaves
100 ml thick coconut milk
Pandan paste to taste
100 grams of sugar
Preparation Procedure
The first time I soaked the green beans for 4 hours until they swelled, so they easy cook when boiled.
After the soaking process, I boiled green beans with enough water.
Add pandan leaves, tie a knot occasionally. Stir the nuts and check for doneness.
Add thick coconut milk, then stir again and cook until the peanuts are crushed.
Add a teaspoon of salt, and also sugar.
Once the beans start to cook, let them sit and wait for them to cool.
Then, after it's cold, blend the nuts until smooth.
Then strain the peanuts earlier, and just take the starch, don't forget to add pandan paste according to taste so that the color looks attractive. Now don't throw away the dregs of the peanuts, you can eat them directly or process them into jam, it's very delicious.
Serving Suggestions
Good luck, and certainly will not make you disappointed. For those of you who don't like sweet, reduce the use of sugar.
