Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you are always given happiness and health.
Recently, I have been thinking a lot about nutrition, food, drink and health. Since a few months ago I felt something was not good for my health, I tried to change my lifestyle, from controlling what I eat and drink, to exercise and maintaining mental health. Even though it's not total for a healthy life, I'm slowly changing a little better than yesterday.

Once I realized that all this time I was not aware of my unhealthy life, such as consuming foods that were high in gluten, cooking fried foods excessively and also drinking drinks that were high in calories, causing me to end up suffering from diabetes and obesity, that put a lot of pressure on me. which was so hard, that in the end I tried to consume food that I cooked myself or avoided food that was bought from outside and stopped other high-calorie drinks.

For 3 months I tried to change, thankfully I was able to lose up to 10 kg in 3 months. It took me quite a long time to get that achievement, but I put health first and then being slim is the bonus of a healthy life.

You know, almost every day I drink high-calorie drinks, I can't get rid of high-calorie drinks for years, I didn't realize that it was the stupidest thing I've done in my life, even though I should have realized that earlier. However, now I can get rid of it, I don't even drink high-calorie drinks anymore at this time, it's been 3 months and I managed to hold it in, even if it's offered, I really don't want it anymore.

Even though I'm not consuming high calorie drinks anymore, I still make drinks that are high in fiber and vitamins, like drinks filled with lots of fruit and jelly, I've always loved pretty colors to go in the glass. You know that drinks like this are good for mental and physical health, I always leave 20% of food/drinks that can satisfy my mind, because all hormones must be balanced in order to create a healthy and fit body.

For example, I always replace my food or drink with a good taste, not only a good diet is eating boiled chicken breast or coffee without sugar, diet is not about coercion that makes you unhappy. Like today's drink recipe, so high in fiber and vitamins, rich in nutrition and also happiness for those who eat it.

This recipe is the result of how I tried to make something interesting but still delicious, even better than the full calorie version. Es Teler, is a drink that many Indonesians are interested in, an amazing drink that should be healthy if it is made with a good process. Most of these drinks are made unhealthy, where the use of sweetened condensed milk is excessive and also uses a lot of sugar, even using artificial sugar.

Es teler this time I made with love, because I realized that I was precious for myself. Es teler with avocado fruit which is high in good fat for the body and also high in fiber which is good for digestion. How to make it easy, just follow the recipe that I will describe below;


Es Teler
The Recipe


Ingredients;

  • 1 pcs avocado
  • Melon flavor jelly (can use coconut flavor is better)
  • 1 tsp Chia seeds
  • 65 ml of thick coconut milk
  • 250 ml of nata de coco
  • Ice Cube
  • Sugar or stevia or palm sugar (choose the sugar you like)
  • 200 ml of water

How to make Es Teler;

  • Dissolve 200 ml of water for 1 packet of agar-agar, then add a little sugar or stevia. Cook over medium heat until hot. Leave it to cool.

  • Prepare 1 bowl of ice cubes and a little water, pour in the agar little by little, then remove the thickened jelly and set aside.

  • Pour nata de coco in thick coconut milk, mix and stir until evenly distributed. Put the avocado pieces into the glass, then add nata de coco and chia seed.

  • Pour the coconut milk that has been diluted with nata de coco water, then add ice cubes and serve.

So many people are not aware that dieting does not mean not enjoying food, drink and life. The bland taste of food or drink will stress the body and increase the hormone cortisol, this can make hormones unstable and blood sugar will rise, so your diet and lifestyle will fall apart. So, always leave food for happiness in your diet. This means a lot to me, so that my diet is so comfortable to do, because I believe that dieting must be done continuously, make it a lifestyle not torture, so you have to be happy doing it.

Hi @aswita, welcome to Amazing Drinks. What a delicious drink you have shared! In addition to being delicious, very nutritious and refreshing, I find it ideal for mid-morning or mid-afternoon. The use of avocado certainly gives it a different touch.

As always, your posts are beautiful, with beautiful photographs and very good step by step. I would only recommend for the next publication that you appear in at least three photos making your drink.
