Greetings cat lovers of Hive!
@curatorcat here on behalf of the Hive Cats Community, wanting to wish Hive's many cat lovers a very Happy New Year! We hope 2025 will be an awesome year for everyone!
We'd like to take a moment to thank everyone who has posted in the community during 2024, and we hope you'll continue to do so in the year ahead!
We may not be the biggest or most active community on Hive, but we do believe that cats matter — after all, they have somehow become the unofficial mascot of the Internet — and they deserve a dedicated community here!
By the Numbers
Our number of subscribers grew to 341 by the end of 2024, representing basically slow but steady growth.
Meanwhile, the official community account reached 1,258 Hive Power by the end of the year. And with Hive now rising in price, the community upvotes carry a little more weight.
Looking Ahead:
Naturally, we want to continue building our subscriber base in 2025.
We also want todo more to highlight and promote Hive content that's related to cats. For that, we plan to not only use @curatorcat's twitter/X account more, but also to use @peakd's new SNAPS short form publishing app.
Finally, we feel good about upping our curation game, now that upvotes can be a little more meaningful!
Mostly, we just want to share with the world of Hive that posting about our Feline Friends is cool, and something we encourage!
And we are looking forward to sharing much more with you, as 2025 unfolds!

Yup! It’s much more fun to upvote blogs than before! The figures look much more respectable for me. I do hope this trend would go on for half a year at least!
