Feliz Diciembre 😊 el fin de año ya se acerca y con el inicio de diciembre es un buen momento para repasar trabajos olvidados por ahí, yo tengo varios, pero hay uno que me decidí que iba a terminar este año si o si y es el proyecto puff, realmente hace mucho empecé este proyecto, con la idea de hacer un puff que contenga muchos descartes de tela.

I actually started this project a long time ago, with the idea of making a puff that contains many fabric scraps.
La estructura externa ya estaba lista así que solo me quedaba hacer los almohadones que irán dentro, para esto primero hice en papel una medida aproximada de como tienen que ser los almohadones, busqué recortes de tela y a empezar.
The outer structure was already finished, so all I had left to do was make the cushions that would go inside. For this, I first made an approximate measurement on paper of how the cushions should be, then I looked for fabric scraps and started.
Use diferentes trozos en múltiples colores, telas que use este año y otras de años anteriores, tengo muchísimos descartes que quiero usar todavía, me niego a tirarlos jajaja, pero en algún momento me encantaría encontrar una forma ética que no sea tirarlos a la basura y ya.

Fui uniendo por los extremos más largo y rotando para ver que sean el tamaño más cercano a lo que quería.

Después de coser siempre hay que fijarse porque algo que descubrí es que se achican por el margen de costura que se toma para coser las piezas entre sí.
En esta ocasión hice 3 solidos almohadones que serán parte de la estructura interna.

Me di cuenta de que la tela de la estructura debería ser más estable, quizás con un entretelado o algo así la estructura podría haber quedado más fuerte, esto no es para sentarse igualmente, sino que será para que tenga un apoyo en los pies cuando estoy en la computadora jajaja, me gusta tener los pies un poco arriba del suelo.
I realized that the fabric of the frame should be more stable, perhaps with some interfacing or something like that the structure could have been stronger. This isn't for sitting on, but rather for me to have a support for my feet when I'm at the computer, hahaha, I like having my feet a little off the ground.
Pero con los 3 almohadones que hice este puff ya empieza a tomar algo de forma y no es solo un trozo de tela con tela que no tiene uso.

También aproveche a separar otros trozos de tela que serán los próximos almohadones y voy a recortar en tiras lo que serán los próximos rellenos, ya que, si bien tenía bastantes con estos almohadones use bastante de lo que tenía, así que hay que organizar bastante para poder terminarlo.

I really want to finish it before the end of the year. I'm eager to start new projects, but I'm finding it hard to get going because I have other things I haven't finished yet.
