Good evening my sweet lovely people on the hive blockchain.how are we all doing, well am positive that our days went well. cos mine was splendid.
Yeah I'm veemahfashion, the ceo of veemahfashion world.and today i have come to share with us my little experience on how i made a lovely crop top and a three hundred and sixty degree flare(360") long skirt.
In achieving this,these are my working tools;
---- my tape roll
---- my scissors
---- my measurements book
---- my chalk
----- the vintage fabric am working with.

Creativity, fashion and designing is one crazy thing i love the most,i always have this inner joy and peace, whenever I create something new and it looks good and beautiful on my customers body.i always fill fulfilled.
Now to cut a three hundred and sixty degree flare long skirt, it goes like this, you will fold your fabric in two first of all, using the longer length, you will fold into two and then, you fold again in a triangular form leaving at least one point five inches (1.5") by the side for zipper allowance.just the same way you fold your peplum top.now from that top triangle, you input your round waist circumference divided by four,mark it in a curve way.now from that waist line that you mark, you will take the full length of the skirt all round. and mark.
You will cross check your work and then cut it out. after that, you will measure a long strip for the skirt band using your customers round waist about four inches wide and the person's round waist measurement.you can fix a gum stay on the wrong phase if so desire.then you will also cut the linning of the cloth,by using the same pattern that you used to cut the main fabric.

the

You go through your work once more, cross check the measurements before you cut out and then move over to the sewing machine.
Now to cut the crop top, this is also the items you need;
--- your tape roll
---your scissors
--- your chalk
--- your measurements
--- the vintage fabric.

Now what does a crop top mean? A crop top is that top or dress that doesn't go beyond the navel.is very short that it shows your navy especially when you have a pointed navel.is usually three to four inches below the burst point.
Now to achieve this,am cutting both the front and the back together.now i will measure the two bodice out using the
biggest part of the body.now in this case,my customers burst is the biggest part, so am using it to cut out two piece adding two inches allowance and for the back i also added one point five inches for zipper
allowance.
I joined the front piece on top of the back
piece then from the top, i took the full length am working with which is eighteen inches (18"), with one inch allowance for
hemming.at the bottom.from the rop again, from the folded edge i input the shoulder measurement divided by two mark, come
down by one inch for shoulder slope, from there i came down by eight inches for her armhole, make my armhole curve, and then go back to the top, from the folded edge,i took the neck width of three and half inches (3.5") for both front and back.and a neck dipth of one point five inches for the back and four inches for the front.i hope we understand.

I made a rhombus shape design just like a kite for the front piece and i design it with flowers.

From the top again,i measured ten inches which is my customers burst point,on that point,i input her round burst circumference divided by four plus half inch for ease and one inch for allowance making it one point five inches.(1.5") i came down by three inches and input her round waist measurement divided by four plus one point five inches allowance.i also came down to the hem line and input the hip round circumference plus allowance.
I make my curve,go through my work once more, before cutting it out. i also cut the sleeve this way; but before that,i think I have share with us severally on how to know your armhole measurement that your supposed to use for a customer.because everyone's armhole is not the same.it varies depending on how bursty a customer is.
So for you to determine your armhole, or your customers armhole you will divide your burst round circumference by six,i repeat by six and add two inches to it.
So to cut the sleeve,i fold my fabric using my customers armhole divided by two plus one point five inches allowance and i cut both sleeve's together. after that from the open side not the folded edge i measured four inches downward for capheight and then from the folded edge i made a slanted line just like (S) slanted not straight to meet the cap height that i marked initially and from the top again i took the full length minus one and half inches for the other fabric i want to paste there.
I input the round sleeve measurement divided by two plus half inch allowance.and i mark, after which i cut it out.
