✨Bota de navidad tejida con trapillo ✨.
✨Christmas stocking knitted with rag ✨.
Hello, friends of diyhub, how are you on this December afternoon? Today I was making a Christmas boot woven with rag yarn. It is the first time I have made one and I want to share the process with you since this is the time of year when these types of Christmas decorations are used a lot and with the creativity that one puts into home decorations, I think the Christmas boot has some meaning and it is something about generosity and the joy of giving. Well, in my case, I am going to give you this nice idea. I hope you like it ☺️.
Materiales utilizados:
Materials used:
Green and red rag, liquid silicone, scissors and a piece of cardboard.
Primero comencé con darle la forma de bota al cartón lo que hice fue dibujar la forma y recortar para después recortar en la orilla del cartón líneas que están servirá para aguantar el trapillo. Este cartón será el molde.
First I started by giving the cardboard the boot shape. What I did was draw the shape and cut it out. Then I cut lines on the edge of the cardboard that will serve to hold the rag. This cardboard will be the mold.
Ahora voy a comenzar a tejer , primero colocando el trapillo de color rojo.
Now I'm going to start knitting, first placing the red rag.
Ya teniendo la primera parte lista ahora voy a empezar con el trapillo verde a pasarlo entre cada línea roja hacia arriba y hacia abajo hasta completar toda la bota. Este paso lo hice dos veces para tener las dos partes de la bota.
Now that I have the first part ready, I'm going to start using the green rag to pass it between each red line up and down until I've completed the whole boot. I did this step twice to have the two parts of the boot.
Now what I did was join the two pieces of the boot with red rag along the edges. And with the leftover rag I made a flower and leaves.
Text editing is my responsibility, the photos were taken from my Infinix Smart 7 cell phone and translated in Google Translate.
