Hello community friends, how are you all? Let me introduce myself, a newcomer to this community, and I want to share stories in the community and get to know all my friends.
On this occasion I will share my creations for making wall decorations using paper which in my area is usually used to wrap rice or other food.
It started when I saw there was leftover paper lying on the kitchen table, then I thought about turning it into something useful rather than throwing it away in vain.
Then it occurred to me to make it into flowers, but what kind of flowers? Then I started looking for leftover items that I could use. And I found several sheets of spectra paper left over from my work making learning media for children at my school. Because I am a kindergarten teacher, I often save leftovers or pieces of paper to use as learning media.
Then I got the idea to make wall decorations from the leftover items. And tarrraaa...this is my work..
OK, I'm starting to explain how to make my simple wall decoration, it's easy to make and doesn't require a lot of materials.
The materials I used were 3 sheets of rice wrapping paper, 2 sheets of spectra paper, scissors and glue.
First of all, I cut the rice paper into an equilateral rectangular shape like origami paper, about 12 cm x 12 cm for 3 pieces. And the size is 8 cm x 8 cm, 3 sheets.
After that, I folded the paper from the sharp corner with the top and bottom folds until it reached the other corner, then folded the folded paper into 2 parts then glued the middle part so it wouldn't come apart. After the three pieces of paper of the same size are folded, then join the folded pieces of paper together using glue, so that the flower is formed. Do the same thing with the smaller paper until it becomes a flower shape. Oh yes, so that the flowers don't fall off and look neat, stick a circle of paper in the middle of the flower.oh yes for one flower I need 3 sheets of paper.
To make the stem, cut the paper into a long and rather wide shape, then roll it by squeezing and twisting it so that the shape becomes a bit messy, but that's where the beauty lies. If the stem doesn't feel long enough, you can connect it with 2 pieces of paper, glue the ends of the stem so they don't come apart and are neat.
Now we take a sheet of spectra paper then we paste the flowers and stems, arrange them so they look beautiful.
So, after the flowers were neatly attached, then I cut the green spectra paper into the shape of grass, then glued it to cover the bottom end of the stem to make it look beautiful.
Then I cut the rice wrapping paper into a rectangular shape measuring 8 cm x 8 cm, then folded it into a triangular shape and cut it so that it became 2 triangular pieces of paper. Then fold it like making a flower and this time shape it into a leaf. I made several pieces and attached them to the trunk and lower stem until it looked beautiful.
So that's my work today, from used goods it can become useful items. Even though my work is not very beautiful, I am proud to have finished my work. Yes, at least I succeeded in making something, rather than doing nothing. Even though in people's eyes this is ordinary, for me this is extraordinary, because I am also still learning.
And don't be embarrassed to learn even though we are no longer young, because learning is good for everyone as long as they want to be better. Thank You.
Wow,this is really beautiful,I love paper frame, and yours is a little bigger from what I have been seeing.
This alone make it more unique.
