Es la primera vez que moldeo una abeja y me tomó menos tiempo del esperado, hacer las patas y antenas, fue lo más difícil de su elaboración, porque son delgadas y hay que pegarlas con cuidado para que adhieran al cuerpo de la abeja y queden fuertes al terminar el proceso de secado, hacer los ojos fue más sencillo solo un poco de dificultad para unirlos a la cara, les muestro el proceso de elaboración.
Hello creative friends and the @diyhub community, I hope you had a happy weekend and spent time with your loved ones. It's a pleasure to share a new molding project inspired by the Splinterlands characters Nectar Queen, a queen bee with large wings and a stinger.
This is the first time I've molded a bee, and it took less time than expected. Making the legs and antennae was the hardest part because they're thin and require careful gluing so they adhere to the bee's body and remain strong once the drying process is complete. Making the eyes was easier, just a little difficult to attach to the face. I'll show you the process.

Procedimiento
Cuando moldeamos con masa flexible el primer paso es saber los colores que vamos a emplear, luego dividimos la masa en porciones, agregamos pintura y mezclamos hasta obtener el color deseado, así no tendremos interrupciones mientras moldeamos, la masa, a diferencia de la plastillina y foami moldeable, un material noble y muy usado por el amigo @ibarra95, para hacer diversas esculturas, es de color blanco y requiere pintura de acuerdo a los colores que necesitaremos, en esta ocasión necesitamos tres colores; blanco, amarillo y negro, acostumbro a agregar dos o tres gotas de pintura a la masa e integrar muy bien, luego formo varias bolas, una de cada color, las aplano y a partir de allí inicio el moldeado.
Procedure
When we mold with flexible dough the first step is to know the colors we are going to use, then we divide the dough into portions, add paint and mix until we get the desired color, so we will not have interruptions while we mold, the dough, unlike plasticine and moldable foam, a noble material and widely used by our friend @ibarra95, to make various sculptures, is white and requires paint according to the colors we will need, on this occasion we need three colors; white, yellow and black, I usually add two or three drops of paint to the dough and integrate very well, then I form several balls, one of each color, flatten them and from there I start molding.
Con la masa de color amarillo moldeamos tres óvalos, de diferentes tamaños, el primero será para la parte de arriba del cuerpo de la abeja, el segundo para hacer la parte de abajo donde va el aguijón y el tercero para hacer la cabeza, el primer óvalo es más grande, aplanamos un poco en los extremos y con ayuda de la esteca trazamos varias líneas, luego formamos un cilindro con el segundo óvalo y hacemos una terminación puntiaguda en la parte de abajo y aplanamos en la parte de arriba, este será donde colocaremos el aguijón, el más pequeño es para hacer la cabeza, aplanamos los extremos y alisamos con la superficie plana.
With the yellow dough we mold three ovals, of different sizes, the first will be for the upper part of the bee's body, the second to make the bottom part where the sting goes and the third to make the head, the first oval is larger, flatten it a little at the ends and with the help of the stake we draw several lines, then we form a cylinder with the second oval and make a pointed end at the bottom and flatten it at the top, this will be where we will place the sting, the smallest is to make the head, flatten the ends and smooth it with the flat surface.
Para hacer las líneas negras en el cuerpo de la abeja, estiramos la masa lo más delgado posible, luego cortamos con la esteca varias franjas y pegamos en el cuerpo, colocamos pegamento también con ayuda de una esteca fina y esto ayudará a que el proceso sea más rápido, con masa negra cubrimos el aguijón, colocamos pegamento y dejamos secar, en la parte de arriba colocamos el óvalo más grande y dejamos secar la pieza por aproximadamente 20 minutos.
To make the black lines on the bee's body, we stretch the dough as thin as possible, then cut several stripes with the stake and glue them to the body, we also place glue with the help of a thin stake and this will help the process faster, with black dough we cover the sting, place glue and let it dry, on top we place the largest oval and let the piece dry for approximately 20 minutes.
Continuamos moldeando con la masa negra con la masa negra, aplanamos y formamos dos óvalos pequeños que serán los ojos, los pegaremos uno a cada lado y con con tiras pequeñas de masa negra pegaremos las antenas, para unir las antenas a la cabeza agregamos pegamento en las antenas y con la esteca puntiaguda hacemos un orificio en la cabeza, agregamos pegamento y unimos las piezas de arriba y abajo.
We continue molding with the black dough, flattening and forming two small ovals that will be the eyes. We will glue them one on each side and with small strips of black dough we will glue the antennae. To attach the antennae to the head, we add glue to the antennae and with the pointed stick we make a hole in the head, add glue and join the top and bottom pieces.
Luego unimos la cabeza al resto del cuerpo, con la masa negra nuevamente sacamos varias tiras delgadas y vamos pegando las patas por los lados, pegaremos tres de cada lado, agregamos pegamento con la esteca, al igual que en el paso anterior y las vamos uniendo al cuerpo de la abeja, pegadas las patas y la cabeza dejamos secar por un tiempo aproximado de 15 a 20 minutos.
Next, we attach the head to the rest of the body. Using the black dough, we cut several thin strips and glue the legs to the sides. We'll glue three on each side. We add glue with the glue stick, just like in the previous step, and we attach them to the bee's body. Once the legs and head are glued, we let them dry for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
Para terminar, con la masa blanca haremos las alas, aplanamos tres gotas alargadas, luego las unimos colocando la más grande arriba, la mediana en el centro y la más pequeña en la parte de abajo, unimos por los extremos hasta formar una figura parecida al triángulo, las pegamos en la parte de arriba de la abeja, nuevamente dejamos secar por uno o dos días, para que las piezas peguen bien y compacten, así está terminada una hermosa abeja inspirada en splinterlands.
Finally, we make the wings with the white dough. We flatten three elongated drops, then join them together, placing the largest on top, the medium one in the center, and the smallest one at the bottom. We join them at the ends to form a triangle-like shape. We glue them to the top of the bee. We let them dry again for a day or two so that the pieces stick together well and compact. This is how a beautiful Splinterlands-inspired bee is finished.
