Today I want to show you a push-up grip I made a while ago for a home gym.

I'm not sure if this community is receptive to this type of content, but I'm looking to see where I can best fit in.

hoy quiero mostrarles una pieza de agarre para empujes que hice hace un rato para un gym casero.

Aun no se si esta comunidad es receptiva con este tipo de contenido, pero estoy mirando a ver en que lugar puedo encajar mejor

This type of grip is designed for pushing weight (to work the front, the chest).

This piece was made entirely from recycled material. I was given two sections of a 2x2 inch tube, each 0.8 meters long. I cut these to size and worked them to fit the person's grip.

I made two 2-inch cuts, leaving tabs to fit the other section of the tube and thus emulate a kind of L shape with a 90-degree angle.

Este tipo de agarres esta diseñado para el empuje  de peso (para trabajar la parte frontal, el pecho.)

esta pieza por entero se realizo con material reciclado, me  facilitaron dos tramos de un tubo de 2x2 pulgadas de 0.8 mts cada uno. Estos los pique y trabaja a la medida del agarre de la persona.

Hice dos cortes de 2 pulgadas, dejando pestañas para encajar el otro tramo del tubo y asi lograr emular una especie de letra L con una inclinación de 90 grados

After that, I joined both parts with welding and then cleaned the welds with a grinder. This helps to see cracks and fissures in the joint, as well as improving the appearance.

With both pieces ready, I proceeded to drill two holes in each one, which would be the anchor points for the machine. Once I verified that the holes aligned properly, I joined the two pieces into one by welding them together.

posteriormente a eso uni ambas partes con soldadura para luego limpiar las soldaduras con esmeril. Esto ayuda a ver grietas a fisuras en la union ademas de lo estetico.

con ambas piezas listas procedi a hacerle 2 agujeros a cada una, ese seria el lugar de anclaje para la maquina, una vez que comprove que los agujeros coincidian de forma favorable uni las dos piezas en una sola por medio de soldadura.

Once the weld was clean and the edges smooth, I proceeded to make the final grip for pushing. For these pieces, I took a one-inch tube and bent it at a 45-degree angle. I did this twice to remove both pieces.

ya limpia la soldadura y lisos los borde procedi a hacer el agarre final para empujar, para estas piezas tome un tubo de una pulgadas el cual doble con un Angulo de 45 grados, esta operación la hice dos veces y así sacar ambas piezas.

The last thing I did was to join the grips and clean the piece with the grinding disc to check the joints and smooth out any imperfections.

Lo ultimo a realizas fue la union de los agarres y la limpieza de la pieza con el disco de esmeril para revisar las uniones y suavizar imperfecciones.
