😃 And since the deadline for the diy2025 contest hasn't passed yet, I'm sharing my new project: a scrunchie organizer. It's a useful and necessary item to keep our scrunchies or hair ties organized and visible. We always put them in drawers, but when we need them, they disappear! This highlights the importance of staying organized, even for the simplest things.
Without further ado, here's the easy tutorial with useful materials to help keep the environment clean, preserved, and beautiful. I hope you like the idea and the materials.

😃 Y como aún no ha pasado la fecha límite del concurso diy2025, les comparto mi nuevo proyecto: un organizador de scrunchies. Es un artículo útil y necesario para mantener nuestros scrunchies, coleteros o ligas para el pelo organizados y visibles. Siempre los guardamos en cajones, pero cuando los necesitamos, ¡desaparecen! Esto resalta la importancia de mantenerse organizado, incluso para las cosas más sencillas.
Sin más preámbulos, aquí les dejo un tutorial sencillo con materiales útiles, que ayudan a mantener el medio ambiente limpio, preservado y hermoso. Espero que les guste la idea y los materiales.

To begin, we will use cardboard, a tuna can, scissors, and a pencil. Place the can on the cardboard, mark the entire outline with the pencil, leave an extra 1/2 cm on the edge for support of the can, and cut it out.
Para empezar usaremos, cartón, lata de atún, tijera y lápiz, coloca sobre el cartón la lata, marca todo el contorno con el lápiz, deja 1/2 cm extra en la orilla para soporte de la lata y recorta.

Next, place the can back on the lilac foam sheet. Mark it with the pencil, leaving an extra 3 cm to cover the can. Apply hot glue, then glue the can onto the foam sheet. After applying hot glue around the edge of the cardboard circle you cut earlier, remember to place a little weight in the center of the cardboard to keep it stable. Glue the sheet onto the open side of the cardboard circle and shape it to cover the edges.
Seguido coloca nuevamente la lata, pero esta vez sobre el fomi lila, marca con el lápiz y deja 3 cm extra para cubrir la lata, aplica silicona caliente, luego pega la lata sobre la pieza de fomi. Después aplica silicona por el borde del círculo de cartón que anteriormente habías cortado, sin olvidarte de colocarle un poco de peso en el centro del cartón para mantener la estabilidad al momento de usar. Pega la lata sobre el círculo de cartón por el lado abierto y moldea para cubrir los bordes.

This first piece is the organizer's support; decorate it with a white fabric ribbon, or one of your favorite color, gather the fabric and glue it with hot glue.
Esta primera pieza es el soporte del organizador, decora con una cinta de tela blanca, o de tu color favorito, frunce la tela y ve pegando con silicona caliente.

Now, decorate the cylinder, which will be the organizer for the erasers. Cover the entire cylinder with foam, leaving 1 cm at the top for decorative details, and glue it in place with hot glue. Cut a strip of glitter foam and decorate the top and bottom to embellish it and cover any imperfections. Then, attach one piece to the support base with hot glue.
Ahora pasa a decorar el cilindro, que será el soporte organizador para las scrunchies, cubre totalmente el cilindro con fomi, deja 1 cm en la parte superior para detalles estéticos, pega con silicona caliente. Corta una cinta de fomi escarchado, decora la parte superior e inferior, para embellecer, y cubrir imperfecciones. Después une esta pieza con silicona caliente sobre la base de soporte.

In this step, all that's left is to decorate. You can use a bow, which you can either pre-made or create with leftover fabric, as was done in this case. A 5 cm wide by 10 cm long ribbon was cut, folded into fans, and decorated with a lilac gem. A bow was also made with thin satin ribbon, and some circles of lilac glitter foam were cut out to finish decorating the bottom of this beautiful project.
I made the scrunchies as soon as the organizer was finished, to show how they look on it. I hope you liked my project today.

En este paso, solo resta decorar, con un lazo que puedes tener pre-elaborado o puedes hacerlo con tela que te haya sobrante como fue en este caso, donde se cortó una cinta de 5 cm de ancho por 10 de largo se dobló como abanicos y se decoró con una gema lila, también se realizó un lazo con la cinta delgada de raso y se recortó unos círculos de fomi escarchado de color lila, para terminar con la decoración de la parte inferior de este bello trabajo.
Las scrunchies las confeccioné al momento, que el organizador estuvo listo, para mostrar como se ven en este organizador, espero les haya gustado mi trabajo de hoy.
