↑This is how things were when I bought the place, the stools and bookshelves came with me.
Last week, I got (finally) a round dining table
You can see how cluttered my counter tops are, because I had no over the counter storage
Just those two wimpy "Joanna Gaines" shelves. I hated it from the start.
Same place I got the table ($20 USD) had this cabinet, glass on top with drawers on bottom.
I separated them, mounted the top to the wall next to the window
Which was a real trial
I am so very glad I have neighbors willing to help me with lifting things
I put those shelves back up
Then I had some Granite cut for the cabinet base, which was just delivered
So now, to try and clean up
The cost for all this (so far)?
$20 for the round table
$40 for the standing cabinet
$175 for the granite and cutting it.
$90 for hardware to hang the cabinet top on the wall (and assorted other things)
Total
$325
The help of friends and neighbors...

Busy similar to you, not sure where the days are going.
This has been an incredibly busy year for me, yet I have much left to get done. Like you I don't know where the time went.
I fear the SADD will be very bad this year.
In anticipation of that, I've bought seeds for veggies grown over winter, that way I should have a reason to get up and go out in the morning, but then I'm old and I really have grown to enjoy sleeping in with a kitty next to me
I would love to be finished and able to take life a lot easier, will be done hopefully by end of October, then start the next round.... Taking bite size pieces at the moment.
A sleep in sounds delightful, have to find a reason to get up daily, hope veggies are rewarding!
