DIY CHRISTMAS STAR

in DIYHub3 months ago

This is a step by step DIY of a Christmas Star.

Materials used for the Christmas Star;

  • Cardboard paper( white and orange colours)
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pen or pencil

Step 1;

I cut the orange cardboard paper into small rectangular strips measuring 10cm by 30cm as shown below;

Step 2;

Here are the ones I have cut, 15 of them;

Step 3;

I fold the strip into two equal parts like this;

Step 4;

I fold one part into two again like this;

Then the second part I use as a flap, to overlap it like this, and then glue them together;

This is the result below;

Step 5 ;

On the white cardboard, I draw this figure below and then cut it out like you see below;

Step 6;

Then I place the cut white cardboard on the orange cardboard and cut out the shape.

Step 7;

Then I arrange the the shapes by glueing one on top of the other. The glue must be applied along the centre only.

Step 8;

Then I spread it out like a fan and glue the two ends together, to close it.

Step 9;

This is the final look.

A great Christmas decor for my wall.

He visto este diseño en persona y veo que lo lograste totalmente, de hecho estoy casi segura que en persona se vería aún mejor. El efecto de repetición es hermoso, te felicito @jemima2001

Thank you very much.
