Greetings and welcome to my blog. In a world overwhelmed by plastic waste, creativity ignites change. I am always irritated whenever I see plastic bottles littered all over the environment because it looks dirty but recently I realized that Upcycling discarded plastic bottle into something like a beautiful lotus flower embodies innovation, creativity and artistry. Inspired by nature's beauty and elegance I envisioned a beautiful lotus flower made from plastic bottles, symbolizing growth renewal and eco awareness. So in my post today I will be making a lotus flower made from plastic bottles, Stay tuned.
MATERIALS
• three plastic bottles
• coloured paper
• scissors
• gum
• brush
• water colour and
• CD player
PROCEDURE
step I
Here I started by cutting my plastic bottles through the center by leaving more at the bottom and less at the top, then from the top of the plastic bottles I then made structures like the shape of a leaf.
step 2
Here I then coloured the flower red and black and designed it well.
step 3
I then gum my red coloured paper on top the CD player and also gum a small white paper in the center as well.
step 4
Next I coloured the top of the plastic bottle with red paint and gum it on the CD player, then I glue some coloured paper on the edges of the CD player and on the plastic bottle as well to add a little design to it.
step 5
As I continued, I then twisted the middle part of the plastic bottle and gum it together, then I glue it on top of the plastic head and then I gum my flower I made
After finally completed my craft a d allow it to dry a little below is my final result.
By making this craft we can utilize and upcycling discarded plastic bottles into something beautiful and creative, inspiring a greener future.
Incredible recycling work. I love this type of crafts aimed at reusing materials.
