Hello everyone, my name is Matilda and this is my first post since I joined the DIYhub community. A big thank you to the hive block chain for an opportunity to share our activities with the rest of the world.
The other day I decided to do something I've not done before, something I've always wanted to do, and you know what they say, "There is always a first time"

I love Christmas so much, and one of my favorite aspects of Christmas is the decorations. I'm so in love with Christmas decorations, everyone around me knows this for a fact.

Last year I planned doing some decorations at my work place, but for some reasons I didn't. This year I wasn't quite sure I was going to do anything,so I didn't even plan. On one of those evenings, I walked into a store and I was really amazed by how beautiful they decorated their store, I was still walking around and I got to the section where Christmas decor items were displayed,at this point I remembered I saved a picture of a DIY Christmas tree last year but I ended up not doing it,so I bought 3 Christmas grass, 2 festive lights and some other accessories for my Christmas tree.

The next day I felt lazy, but I was determined to make my Christmas tree,so I took everything I bought for the decor to work. During my break time at work,I decided to make my first ever Christmas tree. I got the inspiration from someone last year, and I saved the process so I could try it myself.

One good thing about Christmas decorations is, they don't have to be so expensive, you don't have to rob a bank to decorate your space for Christmas, just a few raw materials here and there and boom, your space is all set up.

Everything I did here didn't cost me so much time and resources, I had everything set up in less than an hour.

This was the first light I used for it,but it wasn't so colourful for me,so I decided to use another light. The other accessories were not so much so I used the few at my disposal.

This is my first attempt at decorating for Christmas and I am so proud of myself.

Here is a list of the things I used.
-Nails
-Tape
-Ceiling plank
-Hammer
-Christmas Grass
-Christmas decoration accessories
