How I Gave My Yellowed Phone Cover a Fresh New Look

Hello to all my dear friends from the DIV hub! I hope you're all doing well and in great health. Today, I’m excited to share how I transformed my old, yellowed phone cover into something fresh and beautiful. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you revamp your own phone cover.

Step-by-Step Process

Remove the Cover
Begin by taking the cover off your phone. This will give you a clean surface to work on and prevent any damage to your phone.

Create a Simple Design
On the inside of the cover, sketch a simple design. I went with flowers and leaves as my theme, but feel free to choose what inspires you.

Add Fabric Colors
Using fabric paints, fill in the flowers with vibrant colors. Then, paint the leaves in complementary shades. Make sure to use thin layers of paint to avoid smudging.

Let It Dry
Allow the colors to dry completely. This step is crucial; otherwise, the colors might smudge and ruin your design when you move to the next step.

Apply Black Paint
Once the flowers and leaves are dry, carefully apply black paint over the entire design. The black background makes the colors of the flowers and leaves pop beautifully.

Final Touches
Let the entire cover dry completely before reattaching it to your phone.

The Result

My phone cover now looks as good as new, with a fresh and personalized design! This DIY method is not only budget-friendly but also allows you to express your creativity.
