Greetings to you all on this beautiful day in this great community @diyhub, i hope you are all doing great and having a great time out there at your respective places, it is so nice to be here today to share with you with great pleasure the making of this simple diy multipurpose small pouch using pieces of fabric and im sure you will like the lovely and beautiful outcome.
This is one of my recent creative design of a small multipurpose pouch which I'm sure you will like and how useful it will be, we all have little items like jewelries, simple makeup, bracelet and so on that we might need a small pouch for, just as my friend needed this for herself, you can use this for whatever you so desire to use it for.
This little pouch is made with a piece of fabric, lining, interfacing, zipper and handle at the top, you can see how beautiful this is.
Join me as i get started with the cutting and sewing process
I measured and cut out 14 x 10" with interfacing ironed on the main fabric and lining of same shape
I placed a zipper on both sides with lining and it was sewn together on both sides after which it was top stitched on the right side
It was zipped together then I measured and folded 2" away from the zipper
I marked 2 x 1.5" on each corner and it was cut out
I turned it to the wrong side with the lining facing up, i placed on lining and main fabric together and it was sewn on both sides
For the handle, i measured and cut out 3 x 9" it was folded in to the middle on both sides and it was folded together again and i sew on both sides
It was placed on the main fabric i was working on and it was sewn on it by 1.5" on both sides
I turned it to the wrong side and i sew on the four sides together
Finally, it was turned to the right side and this is the beautiful outcome
With this, your little items can be safe and secure in it, I'm sure my friend will like the beautiful outcome of this small multipurpose pouch i made for her for her little items.
Wow, it's beautiful! The fabric design is also spectacular. It's very useful for cosmetics, which we sometimes don't have or even know where to put. I will definitely make it. Thanks for sharing your creation. Best regards.
