Paso 01

We are going to start by first cutting out the pieces that will make up my shorts. For this I used the measurements from a girl's garment and cut my fabric as we already know, always leaving a 1cm seam in the fabric. I cut two double pieces of the shorts and the part that marks the front piece I only lowered 1cm to give it a drop. I also cut the pieces for the bow: a square, a rectangle, and the center that joins the bow, which is a small folded ribbon of the same fabric. These are the pieces.

Before starting to sew, we will join the fabrics with the help of pins to prevent the pieces that we have already joined from rolling away. Now I will sew the hem of the shorts of both pieces, the sides of the front and the back, then I will close the bottom of the crotch and sew the leg part with a small hem. This is how we put together the shorts. Do not forget to finish the garment with a zig zag where we have sewn with a straight stitch.

In this step we will now be in charge of sewing the elastic to the shorts, for this we will take our elastic in advance and cut the width of the measurement in this case 19 cm and what we will do is join it with a zig zag stitch in the middle and we will be joining the elastic in the front and back on the bottom side and sew with a zig zag along the edge, we use pins to hold it, we sew and then on the top if we are going to hem with a straight stitch, stretching our elastic.

We cut the lace to the size of the leg of the shorts and sew both pieces together. Then we will be sewing over our hem, also hemming our lace with a straight seam to attach this detail to the shorts on each leg.

Next we are going to sew the pieces that we will use to put together our very flirtatious bow to put on the shorts, we sew the square along the edge and turn it over making a small cut in the center on the bottom side then we sew the rectangle and leave it unsewn in the middle and turn it over also we finish by sewing the other small piece that will join the bow and we also turn it over these pieces are simple to make to put together the bow.

We put together our bow by gathering the square piece in half with thread and needle, we make several turns, we place the bottom piece, we also make two turns and we sew the piece that joins the bow, we sew this bow to the bottom of the shorts, I will be placing it on one side of the front part, I sew well so that it does not come loose and thus I have finished sewing it.
