Inflation nowadays is everybody's struggle. The prices of all the goods and services are increasing. We can't deny the fact that most of us are experiencing a crisis. Good thing for those individuals who have a stable means of living and a higher income.

Well, whatever status we are in right now, we should bear in mind that everything is just passing by. Nothing is permanent and sooner or later every single thing will change. Let's just savor every moment in our lives because we don't know that the life we have as of this moment is someone's dream.

Hello, fellow hiveians of this amazing community. I hope all of you are doing well and in good health. So, for today's blog am gonna share with you our do-it-yourself decoration in the reception of my daughter's christening.

By the way, speaking of the price when you hire someone for stage decoration as far as my inquiries are concerned, it's getting higher. I couldn't imagine that I would spend more than 5 thousand pesos or 88.71$ on it. That is why I opted not to hire someone and do it with my cousin instead.

Before we went to the venue to start decorating, we went first to the shopping center where we could buy all the necessary things that are needed for this matter.

Once we were there we proceeded immediately to the area where the balloons were placed. There were a lot of balloons and somehow we were confused about what colors we were going to choose.

In the end, the colors pink and yellow were chosen.

Next to buy is the foil curtain, this time we hardly saw the choice of color we had. Thanks to the sales boy in charge there because he helped us. It's timely that yellow and pink are available which is why we grabbed it right away.

The following were the things we bought there, the balloon, the handheld balloon pump, a foil curtain, double-sided tape, pins, and a balloon organizer. I spent nearly one thousand pesos or 17.74$ only. See the big difference when I hire someone. Let's just be practical anyway.

Upon arrival at the venue, we found that the two employees were doing the table skirting. Well, it's good that we have a companion there.

So, here is the first thing we did. I inflated the balloons using the handheld pump balloon. Then my cousin was the one to put it on the balloon organizer which can be seen in the picture.

Next, we placed the foil curtain on the place where we hang the tarpaulin as well.

It somewhat takes time to hang the tarpaulin using the pins since we make sure that it distributes an equal distance for both sides.

The last one is to place the balloons on top of the tarpaulin. Yeah, it was done beautifully. Ahem, see? We did it!

Hooray! It feels great that though we are not into this decorating of something at least the output looks good and pleasing. Yes, my husband gave me a budget for this but as a thrifty and thoughtful housewife, I realigned the budget for this. And it's for the benefit of everybody.

That's it for today dear hivers! Thank you so much for your time in reading this. Until next time, see you around then. Stay safe and God bless everyone!

Very nice decoration. That would be the decoration that any child would want to have at one of their parties.

Oh, thank you so much for your compliment. God bless

On my son's 7th birthday, I did all the backdrop, including the balloon arch, and my fingernails (my thumb and point finger) were numb and swollen the next day. It was lockdown, and I was afraid to hire someone to do it, and it was expensive too. It was an intimate celebration, but we just wanted to give him the best experience. The hard work is all worth it anyway. Great job with the preparation!

That's the spirit of being a stage mother. We only want the best for our kids. No matter how tiring it is. In the end yeah it's all worth it.

Thank you for your kind words and for stopping by. God bless

That's good Ma'am @amoreyl❤️You have that bright idea!Instead of hiring a person to decorate you are the one who made it.You were able to save the budget .Anyway you have the very nice decoration❤️I love it❤️ Congratulations for your baby,Ma'am❤️Thanks for sharing❤️🙂

Absolutely ma'am. It's a bit expensive and then it just hangs there for 3 hours. It's a waste of money. Well, thanks to my cousin for helping me then. Thank you so much for your kind words ma'am. God bless

Welcome to the Christian world, baby!
