Greetings!
Christmas is fast approaching and my wife has made a DIY Christmas wreath out of cardboard. She is actually going to bring this to my son's school as a classroom decoration. I actually love Christmas it is one of my favorite Christmas decorations second only to the Christmas Tree. This Christmas wreath's main material is cardboard (photo below).
She cut out the center of the circle cardboard to make a ring with a thickness of more than one inch. This cardboard is actually made out of a carton from a box used to contain commercial household products (like food).
My wife used a cutter and scissors to cut out the center of the circle cardboard to make a ring (photo below).
Another used material that my wife used in making this DIY Christmas treat is used ribbons from previous Christmas gift boxes and from the cakes we bought (photo below).
My wife then cut the blue and red ribbon into smaller pieces (about two inches in length and about 1/4 inches in width (photo below).
Then my wife used a glue gun to attach the ribbons to the cardboard ring that she made previously (photo below).
She then folds the two inches ribbons into half while putting them together with the glue gun (photo below)
She attached another two inches ribbons, she attaches another two inches ribbon, this time, a color blue (photo below).
Then she followed it with two more red...
As you can see on the photo below, she first made a group of four with blue as the first color, then a second group of four with blue as the second color, then she made another group of four with blue as the third color, and finally another group of four with blue as the fourth color.
Here is an overall look of the wreath...
She just repeated each grouping until she got the ring more than half-covered with the ribbons...
And then she attaches an old Poinsettia and two old golden balls...
And then she adds another one to fully covered the remaining part of the ring cardboard (photo below) and then she tied old Christmas socks at the center and voila it is done...
Then she put three golden strings at the bottom and it is done...
That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
