How i washed a huge blanket and constructed a huge nylon to package it.

in DIYHub2 years ago

Today, i arrived at my work, where i work as a drycleaner and i meet a client in the shop he brought his blanket and gave it to me to Dryclean and i accepted the task.
Items needed:
A basin of water,
A bag of detergent powder,
A free basin for raising

processes of Dry-cleaning blankets in our local laundry shops are:

Washing,
Rinsing,
ironing,
packaging.

Washing process
pour a huge amount of water into a basin,i took the blanket put it inside, then i took the detergent powder and sprinkle into the blanket and washed carefully to avoid mini stains after that i used my legs to match on it to clean up the huge stains.

Rinsing process
I squeezed out water from the blanket and put into the basin i provided for rinsing after that i fetched water and poured into the blanket and rinsed it properly to avoid any detergent remains on it .

Then i took it to our drying spot where i
provided a rope then i carefully spread the blanket on it and arranged it on the rope well to make it dry easily for quick delivery

Ironing process
I folded the blanket on the rope because my friends were not around to assist me in folding the blanket so I took it into the shop and plugged the iron and set it on a low temperature to avoid any burn on the blanket then i iron it and folded it professionally.

Packaging process
Since the blanket is a huge one it can't be packaged with our normal packaging nylon, so i decided to construct a huge nylon that can fit with the blanket,Then i used a scissors to tear the nylon and did it to another nylon, Then i arranged it on the table then i used my heated iron to stick them together at three of it's edges so one edge will be the mouth. After that i fixed the blanket into it and folded the mouth of the nylon carefully After that i have to use the hot iron to stick the mouth of the nylon.
