Shock Trooper Decorative Pendant II Quilling Technique [Eng-Esp]

Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.

Today I'm joining the Splinterlands Art Contest. I bring you a new work of art. On one occasion, I made a decorative pendant inspired by an element from the card, Shock Trooper, using the quilling technique. Today, I wanted to work on the card again because the symbol on his clothing caught my attention, i made it to share with you.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.

Para hoy me uno al Splinterlands Art Contest. les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, en una oportunidad realice un Colgante decorativo inspirado en un elemento de la carta, Shock Trooper en la técnica de quilling, para hoy quise trabajar de nuevo la carta ya que el simbolo que lleva en su vestimenta me llamo mucho la atencion, lo realice para compartirlo con ustedes.

To do this project, I bought some white cardstock, which I cut into strips using a paper cutter to the right width and length for this little craft.

• I started by taking a 3mm wide white strip, rolled it around a mandrel to form squares, finished with all the tape, sealed it with extra-strong white glue, and removed it from the mandrel.

• I placed a jewelry ring on top of the square.

• I took a piece of white cardboard, applied glue, and made three folds to create a thick, hard piece.

• I applied several coats of bronze paint to the square and pearl paint to the flat piece.

• I proceeded to glue the bronze square to the pearl piece and cut off the excess.

Para realizar este trabajo procedí a comprar cartulinas de color blanco, de las cuales corte cintas en una guillotina de las medidas de ancho y largo adecuadas para ejecutar este pequeño fantart.

• Comencé tomando cinta blanca de 3mm de ancho, enrolle en un mandril para moldear cuadrados, terminé con toda la cinta sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte, saqué del mandril.

• Coloque en la parte de arriba del cuadrado una argolla de bisutería.

• Tomé un trozo de cartulina blanca apliqué pega y realicé 3 dobleces, para hacer una pieza gruesa y dura.

• Al cuadrado me aplique varias capas de pintura color bronce, y a la pieza plana pintura perlada.

• Procedí a pegar el cuadrado color bronce de la pieza perlada, corte los excedentes.

• Using 3mm wide blue quilling tape, I made a small piece on the square mandrel at the second measurement from top to bottom. When I removed it, I flattened it slightly to form a diamond shape.

• With another piece of 3mm wide blue tape, I made two open circles, rolling the tape around the needle until I finished with it. I shaped this circle into a kind of boomerang. We will need two of these.

• I proceeded to glue the pieces in the middle of the central base that I had made previously.

• I applied a layer of extra-strong white glue to laminate and protect the charm.

• To finish, I added the pendant of my choice.

• And so we have finished the second decorative pendant I made, inspired by the symbol worn on the clothing of the character from the card “Shock Trooper”.

• Con cinta de quilling color azul de 3mm de ancho realicé una pieza pequeña en el mandril para cuadrados en la segunda medida de arriba hacia abajo, al sacarla la aplane un poco para formar un rombo.

• Con otro trozo de cinta de color azul de 3mm de ancho, realicé 2 círculos abiertos, enrollando la cinta en la aguja hasta finalizar con la misma. Este circulo lo moldee en forma de una especie de búmeran, vamos a necesitar dos iguales.

• Procedi a pegar las piezas en el medio de la base central que hice con anterioridad.

• Apliqué una capa de pega blanca extra fuerte para plastificar y proteger el dije.

• Para finalizar coloque el colgante de mi preferencia.

• De esta manera tenemos listo este segundo colgante decorativo que elabore, inspirado en el simbolo que lleva en su vestimenta el personaje de la carta "Shock Trooper".
