Una nueva sesión en la que pude probar un nuevo juego, y otros juegos con nuevas expansiones. Detallo:

Cascadero
Publicado este año, un nuevo juego de Knizia. Una mezcla de abstracto con movimiento de tracks. En cada turno iremos colocando enviados en el tablero, que nos permitirá avanzar en ciertos tracks, estos a su vez nos darán beneficios como puntaje, nuevos movimientos o acciones especiales. El objetivo es conseguir la mayor cantidad de puntos pero completando el track de nuestro color, si no ganara quien lo consiga.
Released this year, a new game from Knizia. A mix of abstract with track movement. In each turn we will place envoys on the board, which will allow us to advance in certain tracks, these in turn will give us benefits such as score, new moves or special actions. The goal is to get the most points but completing the track of our color, otherwise the winner will be the one who gets it.
Si bien al comienzo parece una buena idea, conseguir la mayor cantidad de puntos rápidamente, la verdad es que pasado cierta cantidad de puntos, puedes cerrar el juego automáticamente; y si no has logrado completar el track de tu color, acabarás perdiendo a pesar de los puntos. Eso le da un giro a la estrategia habitual.
Although at the beginning it seems like a good idea to get the most points quickly, the truth is that after a certain amount of points, you can close the game automatically; and if you have not managed to complete the track of your color, you will end up losing despite the points. That gives a twist to the usual strategy.
Con una partida se me ha mostrado bastante entretenido, espero seguir jugándolo.
With one game I have found it quite entertaining, I hope to continue playing it.
Furnace
Lo probamos con su expansión Furnace:Interbellum, que le da nuevas mecánicas. Desde un nuevo disco para cada jugador, nuevas industrias, y nuevas habilidades a adquirir, las cuales uno tratará de conseguir. Hace que la partida rápida dure unos 5 o 10 minutos más.
We tested it with its expansion Furnace:Interbellum, which gives it new mechanics. From a new disk for each player, new industries, and new skills to acquire, which one will try to get. It makes the quick game last about 5 to 10 minutes longer.
Es una buena expansión, pero creo que cambia la estrategia que tenía el juego base, debido a que ciertos materiales ya no se conseguirán tan fácil. Aun así es divertido de jugar.
It is a good expansion, but I think it changes the strategy that the base game had, because certain materials will no longer be so easy to get. Still, it's fun to play.
QE
Lo probamos con su expansión QE: Commodities, que permite al segundo jugador con la mayor cantidad ofrecida, obtener un bien entre 3 opciones commodities: oro, petróleo y criptomonedas. Estos darán puntos variables con ciertas condiciones, a la vez que representará un gasto para quien los adquiera.
We tested it with its expansion QE: Commodities, which allows the second player with the highest amount offered, to obtain a good among 3 commodities options: gold, oil and cryptocurrencies. These will give variable points with certain conditions, while representing an expense for whoever acquires them.
Sin duda es una buena expansión, y que complementa bien con el juego base. Lo probamos de 3 y funciona. Después de esta partida, creo que el juego su estrategia varía, por la cantidad de jugadores, ya que en esta situación, está más claro quien es el jugador que ha gastado más. Espero más partidas.
It is undoubtedly a good expansion, and complements well with the base game. We tested it out of 3 and it works. After this game, I think that the game strategy varies, because of the number of players, since in this situation, it is clearer who is the player who has spent more. I look forward to more games.
Obsession
Vuelvo a probar este juego que recuerda a novelas románticas e históricas de Inglaterra. Si bien me gusta, el juego lo hace difícil, si las misiones o los eventos requeridos para el cortejo no acompañan a tu juego. Quisiera poder reducir esa aleatoriedad.
I try again this game reminiscent of romantic and historical novels from England. While I like it, the game makes it difficult, if the quests or events required for courtship don't accompany your game. I wish I could reduce that randomness.
