(EN) What does position size mean?
Position size is the percentage distance from the price you buy Bitcoin for, to your stop loss.
The formula of position size is as follows:
Position Size = ((Total value of your portfolio * Risk Percentage) / Distance to your stop loss)
Example calculation
Total value of your portfolio is 10000 euro/dollar
You buy bitcoin for 44105 euro/dollar
You set your stop loss to 42085 euro/dollar
Distance to your stop-loss is (new-old)/old = (42085-44105)/44105 = -2020/44105 =
-0,0458 x 100= -4,58%.
But a minus number doesn't work here, so we always take the absolute value of this (4.58%)
Risk you want to take is 1% = (0,01)
Position size you may take in this trade is:
(10000*0.01) / 0.0458 = 100 / 0.0458 = 2183,40 euros/dollar.
So in fact this means that if you bet 2183.40 $/€ in this trade, you'll be able to lose a maximum of
100 $/€.
Because: 2183,40 * 0.0458 (the fall if your stop-loss is hit) is 100 euro/dollar
And this 100 euro/dollar is again 1% of 10000 euro/dollar, the size of your portfolio.
Ps. don't forget the fees and use a logbook, e.g. in excel or numbers.

Die Positionsgröße ist der prozentuale Abstand zwischen dem Preis, zu dem Sie Bitcoin kaufen, und Ihrem Stop-Loss.

Berechnungsbeispiel
Der Gesamtwert Ihres Portfolios beträgt 10000 Euro
Sie kaufen Bitcoin für 44105 Euro
Sie setzen Ihren Stop-Loss auf 42085 Euro
Der Abstand zu Ihrem Stop-Loss beträgt (neu-alt)/alt = (42085-44105)/44105 = -2020/44105 = -0,0458 x 100= -4,58%
Aber ein Minus funktioniert hier nicht, also nehmen wir immer den absoluten Wert dieser Zahl (4.58%)
Das Risiko, das Sie eingehen wollen, beträgt 1% = (0,01)
Die Positionsgröße, die Sie bei diesem Trade eingehen können, beträgt:
(10000*0.01) / 0.0458 = 100 / 0.0458 = 2183,40 euros/dollar.
Das bedeutet, dass Sie bei einem Einsatz von 2183,40 € in diesem Trade maximal 100 € verlieren können.
Denn: 2183,40 * 0,0458 (der Verlust, wenn Ihr Stop-Loss erreicht wird) sind 100 Euro
Und diese 100 Euro sind wiederum 1 % von 10000 Euro, der Größe Ihres Portfolios.
Ps. vergessen Sie die Gebühren/Fees nicht und benutzen Sie ein Logbuch, z.B. in Excel.
