Why Do I Stick with Hive Through Thick and Thin?

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. When I was first told about the Hive platform, I felt like I was about to get scammed or introduced to another Ponzi scheme that would crash with all my money in it in no time, but it's funny how it has been 4 years and six months since joining Hive, and the platform has given me more than I have given the platform. Hive replaced every other app in my life. I used to be a social media freak and would spend all day scrolling through social media, but after I joined Hive, the story changed. I hardly visit Web 2 social media platforms, as there is more content on Hive that can keep one glued to their screen until they forget they have other places to be.

Hive became a home; instead of scrolling through social media and not getting rewarded for it because only big accounts get rewarded, I chose Hive, where I don't need to be a big account before I get rewarded for time spent on the platform. Hive is a blessing, and I say it anywhere and everywhere I go. You give to the platform, and the platform gives back in multiple folds, even way more than you give it. If anybody asks me, I will say Hive is the right place for any individual to be.

Hive is one of the very few platforms out there I know joining them comes with more of a positive impact on an individual's life with very little chance of having any negative impact on the individual's life. Lately I saw that you don't even have to be on the platform before it impacts your life and your community positively, and an example of such is the Hive Ghana project, where boreholes are provided to communities with people who did not even know about Hive.

I never wanted to join Hive because I was told I had to create content, and I did not have it in me to create anything, but I still went ahead and joined the platform, and I will spend hours and days working on a blog or post only to check the word count and realise it is not even up to 300 or the word count requirements. It was really a terrible experience. Imagine giving your all only to realise that it was not even up to half of what was needed to achieve success. That is how I felt whenever I cracked my brains to be as creative as I could be to come up with a post only to realise the word count was way below requirements.

The truth is that many people who I started my Hive journey with actually left Hive long ago and kept trying to convince me to leave with them, but I have my reasons for staying back. Hive is that platform that brought out a part of me I never knew existed. If someone told me a day would come where I would sit down and in an hour or two come up with a blog or a post of 400-700 words like it is nothing, I would not believe it, but staying on Hive made that possible, so why should I leave a platform that has had such a great impact on my life? The content writer in my bio on social media platforms is all thanks to Hive; it all started with Hive, and today I am doing good and getting better at it.

I also stuck with Hive because Hive is home; without Hive, I might not have an online presence, as Hive is like the only social media platform where I am actively posting and engaging, though it is built on a blockchain, but for me, it serves the same purpose.

Les doy la bienvenida a mi blog. Cuando me hablaron de la plataforma Hive, sentí que me estaban estafando o que me estaban metiendo en otro esquema Ponzi que colapsaría con todo mi dinero en un santiamén. Es curioso cómo han pasado 4 años y 6 meses desde que me uní a Hive, y la plataforma me ha dado más de lo que yo le he dado. Hive reemplazó a todas las demás aplicaciones de mi vida. Antes era un fanático de las redes sociales y me pasaba el día navegando por ellas, pero después de unirme a Hive, la historia cambió. Casi no visito plataformas de redes sociales de la Web 2, ya que hay más contenido en Hive que puede mantenerte pegado a la pantalla hasta que olvidas que tienes otros sitios a los que ir.

Hive se convirtió en mi hogar; en lugar de navegar por las redes sociales sin recibir recompensas, ya que solo las cuentas grandes reciben recompensas, elegí Hive, donde no necesito ser una cuenta grande para recibir recompensas por el tiempo que dedico a la plataforma. Hive es una bendición, y lo digo dondequiera que vaya. Tú aportas a la plataforma, y ella te devuelve de múltiples maneras, incluso mucho más de lo que tú aportas. Si alguien me pregunta, diré que Hive es el lugar ideal para cualquier persona.

Hive es una de las pocas plataformas que conozco; unirse a ellas tiene un impacto más positivo en la vida de una persona, con muy pocas probabilidades de tener un impacto negativo en ella. Últimamente he visto que ni siquiera es necesario estar en la plataforma para que tenga un impacto positivo en tu vida y en tu comunidad. Un ejemplo de ello es el proyecto Hive Ghana, donde se proveen pozos a comunidades con personas que ni siquiera conocían Hive.

Nunca quise unirme a Hive porque me decían que tenía que crear contenido y yo no tenía la fuerza para crear nada. Aun así, me uní a la plataforma. Puedo pasar horas y días trabajando en un blog o una publicación solo para comprobar el número de palabras y darme cuenta de que ni siquiera llega a las 300 palabras requeridas. Fue una experiencia terrible. Imagina darlo todo solo para darte cuenta de que no llegaba ni a la mitad de lo necesario para alcanzar el éxito. Así me sentía cada vez que me esforzaba por ser lo más creativo posible para crear una publicación y luego daba cuenta de que el número de palabras estaba muy por debajo de lo requerido.

Lo cierto es que muchas personas con las que comencé mi andadura en Hive se fueron hace mucho tiempo y siguieron intentando convencerme de que me fuera con ellas, pero tengo mis razones para quedarme. Hive es esa plataforma que sacó a relucir una parte de mí que desconocía. Si alguien me hubiera dicho que llegaría el día en que me sentaría y en una o dos horas escribiría un blog o una entrada de 400 a 700 palabras como si nada, no lo creería, pero seguir en Hive lo hizo posible. Entonces, ¿por qué debería abandonar una plataforma que ha tenido un impacto tan grande en mi vida? El autor de contenido en mi biografía sobre redes sociales es gracias a Hive; todo empezó con Hive, y hoy me va bien y estoy mejorando.

También me quedé con Hive porque es mi hogar; sin Hive, quizá no tendría presencia online, ya que es la única plataforma de redes sociales donde publico y participo activamente, aunque está basada en blockchain, pero para mí cumple la misma función.
