I'd say you should post your guides here on hive so it can be available here for all, new members included, and so that you can be rewarded for it.
Also, host it on your website like you said too, no mutually exclusivity. You can put it in as many places as you want to.

Ah, yes, multiple formats and multiple points of access, that makes a lot of sense! It's kind of "double the work", but sounds like it'll be worth it for everyone overall.
