Why am I still on Hive? [ESP/ENG]

As a result of the decline in the price of our currency, the enthusiasm of many Hive users has also waned. Many have stopped posting frequently, and in fact, some have left permanently, some due to lack of time and others because they feel it's no longer worthwhile. After four years on this platform and seeing that the price of the currency has truly reached an alarming point, I've sometimes been asked, "Why are you still on Hive?" Some have even added, "Haven't you gotten over that stage yet?"

I'll tell you the truth, the thing is, Hive was never just a phase for me; Hive became my lifestyle. Over all these years, it has become many things to me: a source of inspiration, learning, and also income. I will never forget that Hive came to my aid during very difficult times in my life, like when I lost my job due to the pandemic, and when I was sick, facing uncertainty, and deeply saddened by the loss of a beloved family member. Hive became my source of income at that time; it helped me when I needed it most. So, what primarily binds me to Hive is a deep sense of gratitude and loyalty. If it helped me when I needed it most, who am I to abandon it and walk away now that things have become difficult for Hive?

On the other hand, while the income we earn on Hive is a great motivation, there are other things that are fundamental and, unlike money, don't run out; they last a lifetime. Here on Hive, I learned to use layout code, improved my writing skills, and it served as a writing exercise, since I've written several short stories. I've learned to edit videos, and it's kept me active and motivated because everywhere I go, I take photos with the idea of ​​sharing them with all of you. I've even had the opportunity to resume my singing lessons since I've participated in music initiatives. So, I owe Hive so much. I think better times are coming for the entire blockchain, but for now, we must focus on working every day to build it up. Consistency has always been and is the key to success because only consistency helps to hone skills and make you a better person every day.

I arrived here thanks to my sister @bethyjade and my cousin @emperatriz1503, and today I've had the opportunity to bring in other people like my friend @eugemaradona and even my parents @victor2356 and @carmen1659, which has given me great satisfaction 😃 It's lovely to see how motivated my parents are; they tell me about new ideas for posts: lifestyle content, recipes, you name it—everything represents an opportunity to improve skills or simply interact with other people. Throughout my time on Hive, I've been able to discover different facets of my life, that I can do what I love and learn more from it every day.

So if someone ever asks you, or you ask yourself, "Why are you still on Hive?" just look at your own evolution within the blockchain, see how much you've experienced and grown 😃, how much this platform has given you, discover your own evolution, and then answer. So anyway, friends, it's been a pleasure once again to share my own experience with you. Reading your posts has helped me see that I'm not the only one who thinks this way, and that truly warms my heart. A raíz del declive en el precio de nuestra moneda el entusiasmo de muchos hivers a decaído también, muchos han dejado de publicar con frecuencia y de hecho algunos se han ido definitivamente, algunos por falta de tiempo y otros porque consideran que ya no vale la pena, y luego de cuatro años en esta plataforma y de ver que el precio de la moneda realmente ha alcanzado un punto alarmante algunas veces me han hecho esa pregunta "¿por qué todavía sigues en Hive?" incluso hay quienes han añadido "¿Todavía no superas esa etapa?"

Les diré la verdad, lo que sucede es que Hive para mi nunca fue una etapa, hive se convirtió en mi estilo de vida, durante todos estos años se ha convertido en muchas cosas para mi: ha sido una fuente de inspiración, de aprendizaje y también de ingresos, yo jamás voy a olvidar que Hive me socorrió en momentos muy difíciles de mi vida, como cuando me quedé sin empleo a raíz de la pandemia, y estando enferma, bajo incertidumbre, con una gran tristeza luego de la pérdida de un familiar muy querido, Hive se convirtió en mi fuente de ingresos en ese momento, me ayudó cuando más lo necesitaba, así que lo que principalmente me une a Hive es un profundo sentido de agradecimiento y lealtad, si me ayudó cuando más lo necesitaba ¿Quién soy yo para abandonarlo y alejarme ahora que las cosas se han vuelto difíciles para hive?

Por otra parte, si bien los ingresos que obtenemos en hive son una gran motivación, hay otras cosas que son fundamentales y que a diferencia del dinero no se acaban, duran para toda la vida. Aquí en Hive aprendí a usar códigos de maquetación, mejoré mis habilidades de redacción, me sirvió de ejercicio de escritura, ya que he escrito varios relatos, he aprendido a editar videos, me ha mantenido activa y motivada porque a cada lugar que voy no dejo de tomar fotos con la idea de compartirlas con todos ustedes, incluso he tenido la oportunidad de retomar mis lecciones de canto ya que he participado en iniciativas de música, así que es demasiado lo que yo le debo a Hive, pienso que más adelante vendrán tiempos mejores económicamente para toda la blockchain, pero por ahora debemos concentrarnos en trabajar cada día para levantarla, la constancia siempre ha sido y es la clave del éxito, porque solo la constancia ayuda a pulir las habilidades, a hacerte una mejor persona cada día.

Llegué aquí de la mano de mi hermana @bethyjade y mi prima @emperatriz1503 y hoy en día yo misma he tenido la oportunidad de traer a otras personas como mi amiga @eugemaradona y hasta mis padres @victor2356 y @carmen1659, lo cuál me dio una gran satisfacción 😃 Es lindo ver como mis padres están motivados, me comentan sobre nuevas ideas para hacer post: contenido lifestyle, recetas de cocina, en fin, todo representa una oportunidad para mejorar habilidades o simplemente interactuar con otras personas. A lo largo de todo este tiempo en hive he podido descubrir diversas facetas en mi vida, que puedo hacer lo que me gusta y aprender de ello cada día más.
