At long last, year 2025 is now history. So far so good, so bad! The year came with the good, the bad and the ugly! Some goals were crushed, others became forgotten alternatives. Regardless, we move. Yes, we go again this year. But this time, we're going harder, more consistent and focused. No dulling. Lol.
I turned three years on Hive on the 29th of December, 2025, and I shared a bit of the experience in this post. It was another amazing journey, and you all made it worthwhile.
Without much ado, I'll delve into my overall performance on the chain for the year ended. For the records, this statistics were gotten from there https://recap.hivecreators.co/. You can visit the site and check yours out if you haven't done so yet.
Posts Summary
We all know that Hive is a blogging platform and at the same time, an investment platform. Whether you're publishing long form posts, videos, microblogging - on threads, waves, or snaps, or simply commenting on other user's posts, you're a content creator on Hive.
Out of 365 days of the year, I showed up on the blockchain for 323 days, that's 1,098 days, meaning I was active for 88% of the year. What a busy bee that I was! Lol.
I published a total of 389 published posts plus 38 videos. There's microblogs which covers Waves, Inleo Threads and Snaps. Impressive performance from last year's stat.
While I didn't clinch the Hivebuzz 365 days publishing badge, at least, I created more posts and even maintained a 100 days publishing streak. Amazing.
With this metric, I made it to the top 5% creators who made more than five posts all through the year.
Community Engagement And Support.
Next is the communities where I published posts the most. As a SpendHBD enthusiast - it's not surprising that @spendhbd community tops the chat. How I enjoyed shopping with HBD and getting cool discounts. 😅
Being a content creator isn’t just about writing—it’s about the community. While building my presence on Hive, I realized it's not just about creating content—it's about the connections that come with it. I've met and engaged with so many amazing people, but a few stood out as you can see in the image below.
Financial Summary

Away from that, It's time to crunch the numbers. So here's a snapshot of my financial highlights:
Claimed $1840, powered up 250 Hive, and $16 in HBD savings.
The payout of all my posts, comprising author and curator's rewards totalled $737. Wow!
- Top-performing posts.
Of the posts that paid out, about 10 posts got the most reward, as shown in the image below.
My posts wouldn't have paid out this much if they didn't get support from this amazing community.
Of the 3,960 users who supported my posts via upvotes, some stood out as seen in the image below.

What's Next For Me This 2026?
I'm not going to set up lofty goals in 2026. I'll take it one step at a time.
Looking at year 2024 recap and that of 2025, I'll say that I did amazingly well, especially in the area of content creation. So 2026 will be to improve on the previous year's performance by:
Creating more quality contents, especially diving deeper into topics that would spark engagement.
Like I mentioned earlier, being on Hive isn't just about creating contents, but it's about engagement and the connections formed. This is my go-to strategy for growing and gaining visibility this past three years, and 2026 won't be any different. Therfore, I hope to support and engage with more creators, and build meaningful interactions.
Investment is paramount on Hive, so I'll seek more viable projects to invest in. Already, I'm bullish on LeoStrategy's real world assets (RWAs) - LSTR, TTSLA, TGLD, SURGE, and TNVDA. The yields are autocomputed.
- Finally, is to grow my HBD savings and stake on Hive. The plan was to grow my stake to 5,000 HP in 2025 but it didn't quite work out. However, I closed the year with 4,926HP. Fair enough.
So for 2026, I'm aiming for 7,000 HP. This is very much achievable.
That non withstanding, I'll continue to participate in monthly power ups, and may look also incorporating daily power ups, as my rewards improve.
January 2026 Power Up.
Talking about growing my stake, I started the year with a big power up of 74 $Hive, thereby unlocking 5,000 HP. Bravo Luchyl! You did it! Now is to get us to Dolphin. I don't actually know what qualifies one to be one, but I hope to get there soon.
