Hello, How are you? Well, today is a holiday here in the Philippines. So most of us Filipinos especially those working in government are at home. They are just relaxing while others are quite busy like me.
Even if it's a holiday I have a lot of tasks to do like monitoring my Google Classroom since we have modular and online classes here due to the high index. I also check students' answer sheets during my exams. But despite our various tasks let's be happy and do it with a happy heart to avoid stress. Right? This holiday, it's our time also to read more blogs from other hivers and communicate with other hivers too. Well my dear Hive friends, in this blog I would like to share with you about the Hive and OCD onboarding orientation last Sunday. I'm very busy on that day and I need to take a rest for a while due to Matatag Curriculum Training. However, there were interested grade 10 students from SRNHS who has already their intro blog and they have been very much interested in joining Hive and the onboarding program since last week. So I wanted to help them and teach them about this platform, so I scheduled the orientation right away after I arrived from the training.
Before I go on with the orientation, I let them introduce themselves first and why they wanted to join Hive and have an account in a Hive. Upon listening to them I realized that they all belong to the Special Science Class which means they have higher IQs or just they were very diligent in their schooling. Their family supported their schooling and they all wanted to join Hive since it was their passion to write and they wanted to improve their writing skills as a student and meet a lot of friends too. They also share what they can help hive in the future. I just reminded them to have time management and don't forget their studies too. I also asked them if their parents allowed them to join and it's nice to hear that their parents permitted them to join this platform.
The topics I introduced to them are what is a hive, the basics of the hive, what is OCD onboarding program, what the dos and don'ts are, how to make an intro blog, and how to get curated and explore PeakD. After the discussion, we had an open forum wherein they asked questions about issues they wanted to clarify.
After our orientation was the photo opportunity and I served them snacks too. We ended our session with a prayer. We hope that these new onboardees may have a wonderful journey here on the hive with our help so that we can help them as students and we can also share our experience with them that can motivate them to be a better version of themselves.
I'm so happy to see that you are doing a lot of onboarding program. The more people know about Hive the more it will go widespread. And I'm sure seeing the young ones getting on boarded on Hive is making everyone excited 🤩
