I'll try to keep it short and to the point:
HIVE needs new “blood”, new users, this is development, but without completeness of information, users may simply not know that such a project exists, with enormous opportunities.
In WEB 2.0, there is almost no information about the ecosystem, opportunities and potential. I don’t know, maybe this happens only in the Russian-speaking segment, while in others everything is fine, but I have doubts about this.
There were thoughts of creating a separate marketing community, but I found you - Loving HIVE ❤, and it's cool that you exist, so I'll try to express my thoughts here.
What actions can be taken:
- Create a grid of YouTube channels in various languages - describing the basics, characteristics, mechanics and internal economy of HIVE, as well as various platforms - Esency, Peakd, Leofinance, etc. Content should be presented in such a way that the information does not become outdated for several years, that is, the basics, for starting, what to look for, what is important, etc. A YouTube channel is needed to attract traffic and marketing, it is a shareware source of new users. The video is created 1 time and the next time it works for the result.
- Writing articles (topics are described in paragraph 1) in various news resources or blogs that are well indexed by search engines is important. It should be something like a mini FAQ for a new user, only it should be written in a living language, for living people, not like a canvas of text here https://hive.blog/faq.html . These points should be referred to from point #3.
- Work in local chats, with your real friends and just neighbors. For this stage, it is necessary that there be material that in a simple and accessible form explains to new potential users what HIVE is and what potential it is, but for independent reading.
Speaking for myself, I often analyze various cryptocurrency projects, since I am trading, I like to dig deep and almost always find what I am looking for. I stumbled upon the HIVE project quite by accident when I was looking for information on STEEM (yes, that famous story). It should be noted that there is practically no information in the public domain, crumbs and it is scattered, not systematized. Even when I got acquainted with the platform, even here, being inside the ecosystem, it is difficult to find information for a new user if you do not know where to look. It took me several days to find and analyze the BASIC information, but even now I don’t know everything, I want to believe that the basics are clear to me, but I continue to work on this and every time I try to learn something new.
I'm from Ukraine, I found a lot of information in the thematic community Team Ukraine, it's cool that there are such guys, but I had to look.
I hardly believe that an ordinary Internet user will repeat my actions or a similar algorithm, since he will not understand that this is in his interests, and this is true. New users here, I think it's more of a statistical error, it's a gap in the lack of systematic marketing. Compare this to when you land on the website of a company that is interested in selling their services! On the first page, an ordinary user will understand what the company does and how it can be useful to him, everything is much more complicated and confusing here.
Everything ingenious is simple.
The work of generating content, both text and video, requires a systematic approach and a lot, really a lot of time spent. My reputation in the community and time in it, from a moral point of view, does not allow me to qualify for the Decentralized Hive Fund (Hive Proposals). Perhaps there are other options to organize marketing and building an information field. And perhaps there have already been attempts to do something similar, it would be interesting to read.
I simply do not have the opportunity to do this systematically without being rewarded for time and work.
I do not have the opportunity to fully invest in such a promo, except from time to time, in my own youtube channel and other social networks on WEB 2.0, but this is not exactly what HIVE needs to make a qualitative breakthrough to new horizons.
It is interesting to hear your opinion on this questions, criticism and comments.
