The Hive MeetUp Argentina experience 🎈🇦🇷

Hiiiiii, long time no see...

So, last saturday it was the 1st Hive MeetUp in Argentina woohooo! :D and of course I had to be there.🎈 I wanted to make a video but time got chaotic and I couldn't 😅 lol.

First I gotta say I as well attended the pre-meetup meeting that was made one month before, and since that day I got a lot of expectations; seeing how much love and preparation the organizers were putting into it really really got me thrilled :'v

They said it would be an "educational, recreative and social" event, the ideal combination to me.

So, I seriously spent the entire moth of September all excited and wanting the day to be here already lol, then the day finally came and I woke up all happy and stuff, I spent so much time preparing myself that... yes, it got kinda late, but despite being in a hurry my friend and I arrived right on time.

I remember that on the pre-meetup meeting we were encouraged to take a non-hive member someone with us to the event, so yup, that's what I did! (Cool and best thing of all of this is he will prob join the chain 🤭)

So, even though we arrived like very on time lol, there was people already there. And the space looked really cool, especially because mostly everything was red lol!

First thing we received was this cute little eco-friendly bag and the card with our names (and usernames). This bag just became now my emergency bag that I always carry with me in my bag :P and I already see myself going to have picnics in the park this almost here summer, carrying all my supplies in it to show off ;) and who knows? maybe catch someone's interest and talk about Hive!

Inside the bag we got some little gifts/souvenirs like a keychain, a pen, a sticker and a blocknotes, as well as the chronogram with all the event activities/talks, all of this of course had the Hive logo :)

But yeah, we arrived too early and were waiting for the rest of people to arrive so the event would be able to properly start. So, in the meantime, I took some pics of the cute little details in the place.

The suculentas and the snacks for the break. I agree, it definitively had to be the most typical argentinian snack: medialunas and facturas! I was already happy with this but when they got out the tequeños I went crazy! lol, so crazy I didn't even take pictures of them (too busy eating lol)

I think it's good to mention several of the organizers of this MeetUp were Venezuelan people, and somehow this event was also a connection/collaboration between both countries. The fact they also decided to have some tequeños (a venezuelan popular snack) was a cute gesture and to me even a symbol lol <3

Afte a while, we were all ready for the event to begin, all the organizing team were wearing these beautiful Hive T-shirts (and I felt very tempted to ask for one lol). They started with a lovely opening speech and then we all enjoyed 6 different talks by argentinian, venezuelan and mexican speakers/Hive members!

Before this MeetUp I had only attended one in Venezuela back in 2018, carried out by the Ruta Blockchain team, the creators of the Loving HIVE ❤ community, and I remember it fondly, but gotta say that seeing how much meetups have evolved in organization and creativity during all these years has definitevely been a beautiful thing to see. Listening one more time to people talk in real time and face to face about Hive in such a way full of love and enthusiasm was really motivating, not only for all the non hive members but also for the old members like me, listening to all the talks, being reminded of the potential and how amazing the blockchain is is never enough! lol So, it was refreshing too!

Just gotta say I am grateful to all the organizing team and to all the people who were involved in the realization of this event 💙 It definitevely was neatly done and a good first little start for the promotion of Hive in Argentina. My second Hive meetup and first in a different country was a lovely experience and I'm looking forward to attending more in the future.
