Saludos amigos de Hive y Full Deportes, el día de hoy hemos tenido la quinta fecha del campeonato de Fórmula 1 en el Autódromo Internacional de Miami, un nuevo circuito que vería por primera vez rodar los autos de la categoría reina.

Se estrena circuito y eso siempre representa un desafío tanto para escuderías como pilotos, pero a nivel de realización también tienen sus asuntos. Desde hace un año se nos presentó la maqueta de lo que sería el circuito en los alrededores del Hard Rock Stadium, dejándonos entrever un trazado dinámico con zonas muy rápidas pero con una parte técnica con curvas de alta y media velocidad, acompañado de una zona muy angosta con una chicane que sería un dolor de cabeza todo el fin de semana. Para los fans habría la duda acerca de si este circuito aportaría una buena carrera.

La carrera que hemos vivido hoy ha sido poco emocionante si tenemos en cuenta hasta la vuelta cuarenta. Ya lo mencionaba Ricciardo que en los circuitos nuevos las carreras eran un caos o un desfile de coches muy costosos, hoy hemos vivido más de lo segundo. Tuvimos una salida muy limpia donde el poleman Charles Leclerc sostuvo su posición, lo mismo no pudo hacer su co-equipero Carlos Sainz, quien en la primera curva sucumbió contra el ataque del campeón del mundo, Max Verstappen. Destacar lo hecho por Alonso en la salida ganando varios puestos con el Alpine.

Checo perseguía al Español y lo tenía en rango de DRS, pero una repentina falla en su motor lo empezó a dejar sin potencia, no fue tan grave como para dejarlo fuera de carrera, pero le costó muchos segundos.

En la parte de atrás se podía destacar lo hecho por Valtteri Bottas, que era quinto por delante de los Mercedes, pero habían pocas luchas en pista, ya que muchos pilotos se encontraban alejados o estaban en trenes con otros coches que tenían DRS y era imposible adelantar, en uno de esos trenes se encontraba Lando Norris, quien venía luchando con los Aston Martín y un Haas, se encontraría repentinamente con un Pierre Gasly que habría sufrido un toque vueltas atrás cuando Alonso lo quería superar, el Francés venía de fuera de la pista muy lento, cuando el británico lo intentó superar, engancharon sus ruedas delantera y trasera, haciendo que Norris perdiera un neumático y abandonara la carrera.

En la punta no paraban, Max y Charles continuaban con sus neumáticos de 16 y 18 vueltas respectivamente.

Sorprendentemente Pérez con medios nuevos no pudo con los duros usados del piloto madrileño, el equipo posteriormente confirmó que Checo corría con un déficit de 30CV. En zona de puntos sumaron ambos Mercedes, que completaron una buena carrera con Lewis algo frustrado, Bottas suma varios puntos importantes para su equipo, los Alpine con Ocon por delante de Fernando y cerrando en la décima posición sorpresa de Alex Albon, que logra sumar nuevamente con el Williams.

En resumen la carrera no fue muy buena, tuvo sus picos de emoción al final con la lucha por la victoria, pero tuvimos muchas vueltas de simple desfile de coches, uno que otro toque como el de Mick Schumacher con Sebastián Vettel que dejó ambos prácticamente fuera de carrera o el encontronazo de Norris y Gasly que sumó para el espectáculo. Gran Premio nuevo con un estreno deportivamente flojo, pero con un gran espectáculo de organización. Nos vemos en el próximo GP con cita el 22 de mayo, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Esta carrera estuvo muy pero muy buena en su tramo final, una lastima lo que le sucedió a Norris, tenía fe en que McLaren podía sumar puntos en Miami, pero terminó siendo lo contrario, la entrada del Safety Car ayudó para que se diera esa batalla épica por el primer lugar entre Verstappen y Leclerc y más atrás entre Sainz y Checo Pérez por el tercer lugar, fue increíble la forma en la que el neerlandés defendió la punta a pesar del constante uso del DRS por parte del polaco, un gran estreno para este circuito que por supuesto, tiene algunos detalles por mejorar, pero que estuvo a la altura de las exigencias para un evento de tal magnitud.
Con cada carrera se pone más interesante el campeonato, ojalá Mercedes pueda levantar y en algún punto tener a sus pilotos mejor posicionados, gran artículo, feliz y bendecido día!
