El circuito de Hungría ha sido testigo del ritmo demoledor en esta campaña que ha tenido el equipo Red Bull. Comienza la carrera con un Verstappen superando fácilmente a Lewis Hamilton en la salida, el piloto inglés no tenía ritmo para proteger esa primera posición que consiguió ayer en la Pole Position, pero esta vez se ha llevado una sorpresa y es que los dos pilotos de McLaren Mercedes le han superado con facilidad, en esta primera vuelta Max Verstappen comenzaba a hacer vuelta rápida una tras otra teniendo como sombra al piloto Oscar Piastri que intentaba mantener el ritmo para no perder de vista al piloto holandés.

Una de las sorpresas de este Gran Premio la ha seguido el piloto inglés George Russell de Mercedes, que ayer se había quedado fuera en la Q3 y para este Gran Premio optó por una estrategia larga con neumáticos duros y luego fue remontando posición tras posición hasta colocarse en la posición número 6 de este Gran Premio. Excelente remontada del equipo Mercedes, sus pilotos se han colocado en la posición 4 y 6.

Esperaba un poco más del equipo Mercedes en mis expectativas estaban ver al piloto Lewis Hamilton pelear algunas curvas con Verstappen, Mercedes está muy por debajo de Red Bull y además está muy cerca de llegar al límite presupuestario, algo que hace imposible seguir evolucionando el monoplaza en lo que va de temporada, recordemos que este equipo ha tenido varias evoluciones de las cuales no han caído bien siendo esta su mejor versión.
