A lo largo del tiempo se conocen historias de superación en el fútbol , unas más impactantes o sorprendentes que otras , la que quiero citar el dia de hoy es una que parece una cosa de locos , algo increíble , en la actualidad muchos habrán escuchado o saben de la existencia de Jamie Vardy , un gran delantero que para mi gusto personal entra en el top 10 de los mejores de la Premier League , pero esto no fue siempre así , ya que sus inicios en el futbol fueron muy duros y con esfuerzo pudo sobrepasar cada uno de los obstáculos que se le presentaron , por eso los invito a conocer como fue el proceso para lograr convertirse en lo que es el dia de hoy.

Vardy jugó en 8va división específicamente en el Stocksbridge Park Steels y quizás mucho que desconozcan un poco del futbol pensaran que todos los futbolistas viven de él , pero no es así , vardy dividía su día en 2 labores , entrenar y ser obrero en una fábrica para poder subsistir. El delantero de a poco veía el fruto de su esfuerzo ya que luego ficharia por el Halifax Town de la 7ma división donde la "rompería" ya que en una temporada marcó 29 goles.
Luego de ese gran temporada varios equipos se querían hacer con sus servicios y ficharia por el Fleetwood Town de la 5ta división donde se volvería un referente en el ataque marcando 31 goles en su primera temporada y logrando el ascenso al 4ta división , en este punto el crecimiento de Vardy era simplemente imparable y llegaría a donde lo que hoy por hoy es su casa , en 2012 dio el salto al Leicester, que en ese momento estaba en la 2da división inglesa.

El futbol como lo mencione anteriormente es "duro" pero también hace tocar la gloria ya que en la temporada 2015 - 2016 donde el Leicester superó superó al "Big Six" de la premier league coronándose campeón en un historia que es "David contra 6 goliats".
En esa campaña vardy rompió un impresionante récord que poseía nada más y nada menos que el holandés Ruud Van Nistelrooy quien había marcado en 10 partidos consecutivos , Vardy lo hizo en 11 partidos y fue algo que estuvo en boca de todos , ya que apenas se estaba dando a conocer en la elite del futbol.
Vardy además de ganar la la premier en la temporada 2015 - 2016 el pasado fin de semana se coronó campeón en la FA Cup derrotando al Chelsea por 1 a 0 , invidualmente también consiguió ser el máximo goleador de la Premier en la temporada pasada marcando 23 goles , por último y algo muy resaltante es que también logró debutar y marcar en la Selección Inglesa.
