No insect as gracious, elegant and vulnerable as a butterfly.
To me the butterfly is connected to the sun. Actually, as a child I was convinced they came directly from the sun. Little die I know then about the fascinating process from caterpillar to chrysalis to eventually become such a beautiful creature.
I felt a watercolor project coming up... One with lots of metallic watercolor.
