Come and join me as I explore the night! I decided to go back home to where I was born, and yes, I'm originally from Pangasinan! My friends invited me to visit the first ever night market event, and it was very mesmerizing. I enjoyed walking around and trying all the foods.
Yes, speaking of food! If you're from the Philippines or have ever been there, you've probably seen this incredibly popular street dish, which we all refer to as barbecue: hotdogs, sausage, chicken feet, chicken butt lol, chicken/pork intestine, pig's blood (dugo), chicken head, etc. You'll understand what I mean once you give it a try, even though the name might seem strange. That's literally something I could eat or have as a snack every day. Since I don't drink much, I can honestly say that for most of my friends, it goes best with beer.
Sweet corn, that is! Condensed milk, butter, powdered cheese, and occasionally sugar are included. If this was something you had experienced previously, you were always tempted to eat more. Just so you know, this kind of food is served only sometimes because it is not available. I've been missing this one. Come to the Philippines if you haven't already experienced it!
All time favorite! Looks familiar right? Yes it's shawarma. For flavor, tahini or garlic sauce are common accompaniments to shawarma. Shawarma makes a tasty and portable dinner, which is one of the reasons it's so popular. Although it is a common option for a quick lunch or dinner in other nations due to its availability at street stalls and food carts, this dish is best enjoyed as a snack by the majority of Filipinos.
One last food that caught my eye was this ensaymada, it has a very flavorful taste and it comes with the different kind of fillings, like chicken, pork and the most popular and best seller is ham and cheese. In which sweet and often savory ingredients blend to create a pleasant taste experience.
After all the food trips, I was able to take a picture of this colorful Ferris wheel. I didn't get a chance to ride on it because, at that moment, it was already late at night. However, while looking at it, I remembered all my childhood friends because I ride it all the time with them.
Finally, the most thrilling aspect of this trip is thrift shopping, or "ukay-ukay" as we Filipinos termed it. Yes, I am aware that many of you, like me, own clothing from thrift stores. I won't dispute that the majority of my wardrobe is worth it because it comes from thrift stores. I know how it feels because I've been there before, so just be patient and you'll find all of the designs and styles you're looking for. Let me in the comment section below if you love thrift clothes also like me!
So there you have it! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

What a fun looking night market. All those isaw is tempting. All these time, I thought ukay-ukay was a small store instead a thrift store😅
Urgh, isaw my favorite! Hmmm Yes, it is originally just a small store but I've visited a lot of thrift store already that's why. Haha
