I regretted it a lot when I hated durian when I was young.
Back when I was younger, I never liked durian nor ever tried to come close with it. I think it smells awful and makes me puke but ten years ago, my wife taught me to love it.
She likes durian and could eat the meat of a whole fruit, and there I realised that those hearsys about eating durian risks high blood patients are not real. Then I was hired as a security guard on an orchard and there I proved that no matter how much I eat durian fruit, my blood prep did not pump up high. Those were one of the best days of my life because I had an unlimited access to different durian varieties including the pink one which is very pungent and I'd did not dare eat it.
So here I am, enjoying the most delicious fruit right under the tree and hoping for more. This was when I paid a visit to my godmother's farm and asked me to do some chores. Then the wonderful aroma of ripe durian tickeled my nose and invited me to pick it.
It became my lunch, delicious and healthy. Although sad to sa that there are durian diseases these days and damaged most on my godmother's durian fruits as well as the neighboring fruits.
After some extrenious work, I delighted with life's small delight, a creamy delicious durian fruit.
Have you tasted durian already? Do you like it?
