It was supposed to be a fun day but people chose chaos
One lovely day, I was hired by my friend to take some members of her family to the beach to celebrate her son's first birthday. She was already working in the overaeas trying to provide for her family sacrificing not to see her son grow up for her great pove for them.
For the celebration, she bought one of my pigs, and asked me to help her other family members to slaughter it. Some volunteered to cook so that the next day, the celebration will be held on the beach together with her other family members.
It was cloudy, gloomy even and the original plan of taking my wife and son with me that day was replaced with the wife's refusal due to the weather.
At 6am, we readied and went tot he beach, some went straight to the water especially the kids and they had so much fun while waiting for the food.
Then everyone gathered to thank the food; the cake and roasted pork was present and balloons were decorated for happy vibes. The innocent child who celebrated his birthday was very happy but I bet he questions why he couldn't hug his mom when they do video calls. Anyway, my friend was on video call with her family member while the event happened.
Yet despite all the happy happenings, some people chose to be different, some the food before it was ready to be served, perhaps they are hungry already but tension arose between them and other family members and soon when everyone was loaded with alcohol, they are all ready to fight with each other disrespecting the one who initiated the celebration and the reason why we all went home earllier than expected and even when the food was still plenty.
But I thought of the chaos as a blessing in disguise since we all landed home safely and avoided even more chaos on the site.
Before the chaos happened, I was sitting on the truck long boring moments and then I soon saw my friends and they happen to be on the same beach.
They are having so much fun and I was entertained by them yet because of the chaos that happened in the other cottage, I left them soon and was not able to bid goodbye.
On the way home, I let the father of th child drive and so I had the chance to take pictures along the way. We had so much fun and he taught me driving tips and tricks which I needed the most.
And since there were still so much food left when we went home, he gave me some lechon and brought it home.
I don't know why people choose chaos and I wonder where they get their braveness from. Yet I would rather left that question unanswered and live in peace away from then even if it means the fun would be over.
And I am glad that it was over. This will be all for now, always chose peace! Keep safe.
