It's Ina's month again and this year is the celebration of her 100th Canonical Coronation on this centenary year. People all over the Bicol region go to Naga City to show their devotion to our Lady of Peñafrancia.
It has been believed that the miraculous image of Ina is miraculous and granted wishes and heard prayers of her devotees. I, myself, have experienced her miraculous help and was heard by Ina.
Yesterday, we waited along the Naga City River to witness the fluvial procession. We waited for 6 hours as we fervently sought her presence. It was all worth it in the end as we were blessed by her presence. Singing the Marian songs and shouting Viva! When group leaders say, "Viva La Virgen!" "Viva El Divino Rostro!".
I will always be Ina's devotee because I can feel her love and presence for us Bicolanos. She is our Ina who relays our prayers to her Son, our God. Our Ina who saves us from calamities. And our Ina, who will always be there for all of us.
